Question about Sony PlayStation 2 Slimline Console
Hooked up a new wireless router. works fine when hardwired to the ps2 but won't work wireless. talked with tech's at sony and pc support. nobody wants to help out. talked with my service provider that i got the router from and they tell me they do not support sony so they won't help. was told by the guy at sony that opening some online ports might solve the problem. i don't have a clue how to do that. he gave me a list of the ports. they are: tcp # 80, 443, 5223, 10070 to 10080
udp# 3478, 3479, 3658, 10070
if anyone out there could help me with this i would be grateful
Can not do wirless
can only be wired cause i was asked that not to long ago sorry just buy a multi ethenet cable conneter and another ethenet cable to hook it up to your ps2 that's all i can think of

Ok heres what you do I was in ur same situation about a month ago folow these instructions carefully.
wired: get a ethernet(network) cord and hook it into the network slot in the back of the ps2 slim, now take that cord and hook it either to your modem or ur router.
wireless: if u want to do this u need a lot of money and a wireless USB ethernet thing or just a wireless ethernet
heres a diagram
hope this stuff was hopefull if u still have any questions email me at email@example.com
