Crooked City Official abusing Government power to harass Citizen

We are hardworking professional family with little children. Some politically powerful person or persons in the City Officials singled us out and harassing for last five years with false accusations, citations and new accusations of violation of ever changing home brewed incomprehensible invasive City Ordinances which are subject to City Officials interpretation only to handle case by case for preferential treatments. We have burnt thousands of dollars for interpretation of specific City Ordinances by using several lawyers and professionals to prove that there was no violation. Their professional opinions are that City Officials had been taking racial discriminatory path; single out our case to continue to harass our family and collect various steep administrative fees to drive us out of this City. During this hard economic time we are heavily burdened with high mortgages and property taxes (10 to 15 times higher than our old neighbors). Recently City has threatened us to obtain a court order to abate the violation and use their own pet contractor to charge us tons of money and attach that bill to the Title of our property by disregarding the safety and security of our family. City Council members were made aware of this dispute 2 to 3 years ago, but no-body came forward to resolve this dispute. We desperately need some expert advice how to expose and punish these City Officials who are abusing City Government power to fulfill their personal hidden agenda driven by greed or, personal gains.

How much savings can I have before it affects my family tax for my children

Hello Anna Lea,

Tax advice from FIXYA is a BAD IDEA... (opinion).

FIXYA is a global site... TAXATION application varies from
city, county, state to county ... you can count on little from government but the certainty & sanctity of TAXATION

So obviously your TAX situation
all depends on where (in the world) you reside...
Are you speaking of the USA, EU, UK...
Asia, SA...??

The only thing that remotely fits your question parameters
would seem to be a UK Tax-free savings threshold of
£5,000 for income earners under £15,600...

Woo hoo yippee (like winning a Lotto).

For sure... here in the USA it also varies by
how many children and your filing status...
but here... "Tax-free savings threshold" does
not seem to be a serious issue... (me thinks).

California seems to need TENTS, blankets & any water
(clean would be nice... but I've seen STREET puddles
being used (SAVINGS is no longer the concern it WAS))...

GOOD news ...
SOLARIZATION of Government offices (& parking lots)
are about complete... and BILLION DOLLAR "rainy day"
(Governmental slush funds) continue to emerge even
from the obvious GOVERNMENT opulence... because
the GOVERNMENT "FELT" the financial constraints
of a collapsing STATE economy, terribly weakened
dollar... and the financial ruin of TAX PAYERS hurt...
Can't have our POLITICIANS (& civil authorities)
sharing in our pain. That's just to TRAGIC to allow.

In my opinion... £5,000
Doesn't even keep up with the devaluation of the
GLOBAL value of money... All the little people...
smelly, hungry, needy, noisy distraction to really
GOOD GOVERNMENT ... Reality: how annoying.
(Yearning to be free... of tyranny (again)).

((( I say... Let them eat cake ))).

We Want Our Children Back

It is my opinion that Prayer and help from above to both get your children back and to resolve the reason they were taken in the first place is the best place to start. There is no government higher, no court above that which is established from old. If you have not, get involved in regular "public service", and a local church that reveres the King of Kings, then in time, all will be restored as you trust and obey. This is my opinion and experience.

What is a coo in politics?

If you mean political coup [pronounced "coo"], it is the overthrow of the government by unconstitutional means. Also known as a coup d'etat, it usually involves the military or a general uprising against the government, and then setting up a new government friendly to the revolutionaries.

It might be the police can do nothing or it might be the police you talked with can't or won't raise enough interest to do something - often the case...
Part of the problem is the police and other authorities don't understand so what you need to do is keep a diary of the dates, times and what is said by whom. Recordings might help.

I suggest you write to anyone and everyone you can think of who might be able to help or advise you. Use recorded post so recipients have to sign.

You also need to know the law where you are. If the threats are of harm it is possible the police have the power to treat them as an actual assault. Knowing the law and your rights in such things means it will be more difficult for you to be fobbed off when you ask for help.

If you can afford it you should consult a lawyer but if you can't there might be a department in your local government offices where you might find free advice. The chief clerk at your local court is another useful source of advice and citizens help charities and some bank accounts and insurance policies have free legal helplines.

Independent witnesses to the abuse and threats should be persuaded to make a statement and details should be entered in your diary.

For example, if you receive a harassing message in your Inbox, you can report the message by clicking on the "Report" link next to the sender's name. If you receive a harassing message from a person who is one of your Facebook friends, you should remove the person as a friend and report the message. Reporting a message as harassing will automatically add the sender to your Block List. You can also use the "Report/Block this Person" link that appears at the bottom of the abusive user's profile.
