MASTERKEY FOR NITENDO DS

Try this my friend :

Go to parental controls in system settings. When it asks 'Change Parental Controls settings?' tap yes. When it brings up a numeric keypad, tap the center button, "I Forgot". Next, tap "I Forgot" again. Now you will be shown a screen with a number at the bottom (the 'inquiry number'). Go to wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp on your computer and enter this number in the field marked confirmation number. Set the current date in your timezone and click get reset code.

It does work for the Ds! You just have to choose the correct time zone after you enter the code!

The master key is different for every DS system. Call Nintendo and get to the DS helper. Then you tell them your inquiry number and they will tell you the master key. You must provide proof of ID, your inquiry number on the DS and your DS serial number.

1. Click "I forgot" twice.
2. Copy the inquiry code onto the bar required on the site provided.
3. Select your date.
4. Get your master key pass.
Go to settings and flip through the options till you see ''Parental Controls''
To know the master key for the Nintendo DS (presumably because you had forgotten your parental control key) call the number 1-800-255-3700 and follow the menus on the phone until you can talk to customer service about Nintendo ds.

I hope his helps otherwise contact Nintendo Directly for support, The telephone number's for all Nintendo Offices worldwide are in the user's manual if not you can Google them.

A child on my son's bus stole his dsi. we have original box with serial number. the other child removed both locations of serial numbers on the "stolen" dsi how can it be identified?

i suggest talking to the parent, but as for the serial number identification, you'd have to run a bios mode on it and that involves having a.) the knowledge to do so, and b.) posession of the device. the law says that posession is 9/10 of the law, but to avoid hassle id suggest just going straight to the parent. worst case scenario, video games rot kids' brains anyway. get your kid a book to read, cant go wrong with 'a wrinkle in time' trilogy.

I purchased my Wii "used". I would like to change

Go to the parental controls menu in the wii, and click yes to change the settings. Click "I forgot" twice, and you should get a confirmation code. Go to this website http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.wsgi?number=02221258&date=1008&submit=Get+Reset+Code and enter that number in the Confirmation number box, and click Get Reset Code. You will get a number. Enter that number on the wii, and it will reset your parental controls. Hope this helps!

I accidently deleted my gamertag that has Xbox Live and my saved achievements in it and I don't know how to get it back

To recover your Gamertag from Xbox LIVE:
  1. Sign out from all of your profiles. The fastest way to do this is to press the Xbox Guide button, press X, and select Yes, sign out.
  2. Select Recover Gamertag.
  3. Follow the directions on the screen. NoteYou can enter information using a USB keyboard plugged into a controller port, the Xbox 360 Chatpad (sold as part of the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit), or your Xbox 360 controller and the on-screen virtual keyboard.
  4. When you're finished, your profile will be downloaded from Xbox LIVE to your console and you'll see your avatar in the Sign In area. You're good to go! NoteIf you're a minor, you'll be asked to supply Windows Live ID credentials for your parent, who will need to be present to complete the procedure. Your parent will need his or her own Windows Live ID and a valid e-mail address.

Password on famliy setting for xbox live preowed console

From the XBox website:

Managing Xbox LIVE Activity
Xbox LIVE Controls come into play only when you take Xbox 360 online, and they're linked to a child's profile and gamertag. When an Xbox LIVE account is created, the service asks for the member’s age to determine whether to apply Family Settings to that account.
Parents are also required to create or use an existing Windows Live ID. The Windows Live ID is associated with the child’s Xbox LIVE account and protects the settings from being changed later by the child. To change a child’s settings, first select the child’s account name and connect to Xbox LIVE. Once signed in, enter your Windows Live ID password to unlock the settings.
To see these controls, go to My Xbox, open System Settings, then selectFamily Settings, Xbox LIVE Controls.

Blinking red light

It's a hard ware problem: either the power supply, hard drive, or likely the motherboard.

You'll have to contact Sony for repair @

1-800-345-SONY

You can try a few of tips here:

http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board/message?board.id=ps3&thread.id=3290911

Most of them apply to the YLOD problem but they're essentially the same.

Xbox live problems

Are there any other Xbox live accounts on your xbox? And you're sure there's no parental controls on that account?
  • I think maybe your Windows Live id that is used when you sign in might be automatically knowing your age? if you're under 18, I think it blocks mature ratings automatically.
You could do a couple google searches, but I'm pretty sure it wont let you download Above Teen rated content if you're underage, UNLESS, the parent email can be used to sign in and change the rating limitations.(I think the parent email was used when initially setting up the xblive account on the xbox.

Did you set up the account, or did your parents?

I don't think this may have helped you at all, but I had to try, and give some input. As I was in this predicament once also, What I did was had to sign in to xbl, and goto manage account, and somewhere in those settings I found the restrictions on ratings. But I belive it asks for a parent to sign in or something. (but i used my 2ndary e-mail when it told me to enter parent e-mail, so I guess that's a little different.
