a red light is blinking where the green light usually is when you turn it on.

I have the same problem.

Red light blinks 7 times. I unplugged the TV, waited 15 minutes, then plugged it back in. Same problem. Jim.Donati@sprint.com

I have had by tv a little over a year. Today it quit working and the red light starting blinking instead of the green. It blinks 4 times and then pauses and starts again. Nobody will tell me what it means before I shell out 50 bucks for diagnostics. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong.

I finally got Philips to grant me a concession on my warrenty and they replaced the tv. The repair guys said it could not be fixed. The company sent me a replacement. Got it today. Had it on for 15 min and the sound went out and then the tv turned itself off and the red light blinks once pauses and then blinkes 4 times. HELP!!!!!

How many times is it blinking? That is an error code.
