Try new batteries.

you can download the driver @ nextar.com for Nextar MA933A. However it seems you only need the driver for it if you are using windows 98 or windows 200 prior to SP3. At the link above you can also download the manual, and read the FAQ section.

Make sure the Hold switch is not enagaged - THEN, remove and reinsert the battery

1. Insert your Nextar MA933A Player.
2. Wait til it is recognized in your computer.
3. Double click My Computer desktop icon.
4. Right click your Nextar MA933A Player Drive(X:)
5. On the submenu, click Format...
6. A box will appear, in the Format Opions check the box Format Quick then click OK button.
