Cooker blew rings are working but oven isnt have bought grill/oven element have also bought new thermostat as the old one was burnt out have fitted them in as was and when we put back on it blew again still no oven can anyone help

grill element is separate from oven element. i assume this is a fan oven. take rear panel off inside the oven and the oven element is exposed and you can often see the damage. toncheck properly, take the rear cover off outside the oven and terminals of the element are in view. check for continuity with a multimeter

It sounds like you have either one of the following things that need attention. First, turn off both breakers to the oven and then back on. Next check the wiring from the receptacle to the back of the oven. Next, check your internal fuses. Most ovens have them. Last, check the wiring to the elements and control switches. Somewhere you have a wire burned off the terminals or control switch. That smell you referred to is probably one of the wires that may be burned.

It is usual to be able to adjust oven door hinges.
Normally the only solution is to replace the hinges.
