Where might I be able to find the rear drum bearings?

Most likely, the rear drum bearing, a drum roller, or a drum slide has failed. Most models do not have all three types of drum support, usually one or two types. (Rear bearing with front sliders, rear rollers with front sliders, front and rear rollers, etc.)

Could possibly be a belt idler pulley or motor bearings, too.

You should diagnose and find the problem, before buying the parts.

If your dryer is the kind with rotating drums, might be a bearing. You should disassemble it and check if can be replaced

Check the blower to make sure it is properly secured on the motor shaft. Also check all of the bearings: motor, tensioner pulley and drum support rollers or drum bearings. You may have to disengage the belt to check the motor and tensioner.

Drive Motor

The dryer drive motor turns the drum and the blower wheel to exhaust the air. If the dryer stops the motor might be defective. If the dryer stops and the dryer motor makes a humming noise there might be something caught in the blower wheel, or the drum might be binding. Try removing the belt from the motor and checking the blower wheel for obstructions. Also try rotating the drum by hand with the belt off, it should rotate freely. If the drum doesn't turn freely, determine what is causing it to bind. The dryer motor can't be tested easily. If the drum turns freely and the blower wheel is clear, and yet the dryer still keeps stopping mid-cycle the motor may be defective. it will need to be replaced. It is not serviceable.

The rollers must spin freely to work properly. If the roller axles are worn out the rollers may not spin freely which can overload the motor and the dryer stops. The front of the dryer drum is supported by small pieces of plastic-like material. As the drum rotates, it slides on these plastic pieces. If the dryer stops mid-cycle, it may be that one or more of these plastic slides or glides has worn out. When they wear out the drum can start binding and put strain on the motor. The motor then shuts down and the dryer stops. Check the glides for wear and replace as needed.

Drum Bearing

The drum bearing supports the rear of the dryer drum. Over time this bearing will wear out and may cause several different problems. If the dryer stops during the cycle it may be that this drum bearing has worn out and is putting too much strain on the motor. If the belt is removed and the drum spins freely, the drum bearing is probably not worn out. If the drum bearing is worn out, there may be some grinding or squealing, and the drum will be hard to turn.

Dryness Control Board

The dryness control board shuts off the dryer when the clothes have reached the level of dryness selected by the user. If the dryer stops too early, the dryness control board might be defective. This is not very common and other possibilities should be checked first.

If the dryer makes noise, the belt may be frayed or damaged. If the belt is damaged, it will make noise every time it travels around the pulleys. The drive belt is a long, narrow band that wraps around the entire drum, then around a tension pulley and the motor pulley.

Drum Roller

It is very common for dryer drum rollers to wear out. If the dryer makes noise, particularly a loud rumbling noise, one or more of the rollers may be worn out. After removing the drum from the dryer, inspect the rollers. If one is worn out replace all of them at the same time as a preventative measure.

Drum Roller Axle

Over time the drum roller axles can wear out, causing the rollers to wobble. If this happens the dryer makes noise. If the dryer is making a rumbling noise, check the rollers and axles. If any are worn out, replace them all at the same time.

Blower Wheel

Clumps of lint, socks, and other small articles of clothing can get past the lint filter and into the blower wheel. If the dryer makes noise, and the noise seems to be at a very fast pace, there might be something caught in the blower wheel. Drum Support Roller & Axle

Drive Motor

Although not very common, if the dryer makes noise the drive motor may be worn out and the motor bearings can become noisy. If this happens the drive motor must be replaced. The bearings are permanently sealed and cannot be lubricated.

The long buzzing your hearing is the motor winding trying to start the motor. After 30 - 45 seconds if the motor does not start the thermal overload will cycle and prevent further attempts for around 5 - 6 minutes until the motor winding cools down.

Causes of a dryer motor not starting:
1. Binding.
a. Broken dryer fan blade lodged inside the blower housing
b. Motor start switch failure
c. Motor bearing failure

2. Dryer drum bearing / roller problems
a. The drum can be bound up and dragging on internal components of the dryer
b. The Idler pulley bearing may have failed and it is now a brake.
c. Front or rear drum seals failed / pinched against rear or front of the chassis
d. Drum roller bearing failure and is now a brake.

Reach inside the drum and see if you can turn the drum. If you can not turn it with a little effort, you need to find out where the binding is inside your dryer.

Remove the top cover and check to see if the belt is o/k, or could be collapsed rear bearing, remove the rear cover and check the drum bearing.

The motor is bad and needs replaced. It could be the contacts or the bearings, either way you have to replace the motor.

Check Idler pulley and rear drum bearing first. One of those is likely to cause squeaking when it fails. Idler pulley can be checked by removing lower rear panel. It's located right next to Motor.

Rear drum bearing is replaced by raising top and removing front and drum. Often just the bearing sleeve needs replacing unless the support shaft or housing is deformed.

what i will do first is change your rear bearing obviously it is worn out leaning downward putting unnecessary strain on motor..

if you notice it is motor too which is rarely the problem, take the drum out, disconnect wires to motor, remove clips holding motor.
