Hi, i dropped my binoculars and im having trouble finding replacment parts to repair them tasco 2012brz zip

Sadly, considering they are likely inexpensive, best thing is to replace them completely with a new binocular. The price to repair them could be better spent on a new or good used binocular.
If that isn't acceptable, you can Cory at SuddarthOptical@yahoo.com for a price for parts or repair. He comes HIGHLY recommended after I have received consistently high quality repairs on different pieces of optical equipment I've sent him.
Good Luck

I have a Redfield 3x 9x riflescope with a bent horizontal cross-hair. It is an old scope I've had for years. I was wondering if it is covered by warranty? If so,where do I send it for repair?

Redfield was purchased by Leupold in 2008, and is only able to repair and service Redfield scopes made in 2010 or later. If it was made before 2010, then it isn't covered by warranty, but Leupold does suggest contacting Iron Sight, Inc, if you want to ask about repairs and associated costs. Here's what the Redfield/Leupold website says:

When Leupold & Stevens, Inc.® purchased Redfield in April 2008, it did not acquire the capability to repair Redfield products manufactured prior to this purchase. The repair tooling and parts were purchased years ago by other repair services. Leupold & Stevens, Inc. will service its manufactured Redfield product (manufactured from 2010 forward) in accordance with its published warranty.
At this time, should a non-Leupold & Stevens, Inc. Redfield product require service, we suggest contacting Iron Sight, Inc. (918) 445-2001. This contact is provided for information purposes only, as Iron Sight Inc. is not affiliated with Leupold & Stevens Inc. They should be contacted directly for all information regarding repair, service and associated charges.

My binoculars were dropped and one of the lenses seems to be dislodged. Can this be repaired? If so where is your closest service center to Waldwick, NJ 07463? Thank you, Bob Armistead

Hi Bob,

You'll need to call Nikon and likely send your binoculars to their repair facility in Torrence, CA.
Nikon's phone number is 1-800-645-6687. This type of repair should be covered under their no-fault repair/replacement policy.

Double image occured after the omega 40 X 70 binoculars were dropped

There are a series of lenses and prisms inside the binoculars. When the unit was dropped one of more of those elements have been dislodged and that is what is causing the double image. You can check with the retailer to see if there is a repair center in your area. The way these units are put together they are difficult to take apart, repair, and put back together. Depending on the cost of the unit you might be better off replacing them. Check with the retailer to see what they say.

One of the eyes got broken when it fell out of the tree stand

chances are when they dropped other optics moved as well, that means they will have to be realingned. i dont know what they cost you but i think its a done deal. sorry for that ,but there is so much cheap junk on the market today that it makes sense to just buy a new one as a good optics teh would cost at least $80.00 per hour to repair....larry@reichinstruments.com
