The battery is fairly new. I was on the phone talking & it all of a sudden turned off & completely powered off on me. It's never powered back on since. I put it on the charger and the outside screen will kind of light up, but the charging light doesn't come on like normal. I've also tried charging it in my car with no luck. Don't know if I should bother buying a 3rd battery for it or just get another phone......

To disassemble the phone, you need to get he appropriate screwdrivers and follow the processes below;
Turn your phone over so the battery
cover is facing you. Remove the battery cover and
battery. Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers and unscrew
Remove the screws,
Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers & screws
above the main screen,
Prise the back part away from the rest
of the phone by running your fingernail between where the two parts meet,
Unclip the ribbon,
After removing the ribbon cable,
carefully lift the metal part. Another ribbon will be
attached which should be carefully removed. Take the circuit board & keypad out and
you'll be left with just the screen and the keypad rack.
On the circuit board, you'll see the charging port and the broken charger that is in it.
Try to pick it out with a pincher, and if you cannot, then you have to replace the charging port.
Disconnect the charging port and replace it with a new one.
Reverse the process to reassemble the phone back together.
If you have a memory card installed on the phone and the photos are on the cards memory and not the phone memory, simply remove the card, place in in an approprate card reader on any computer, and you should be able to tranfer the photos. However, if the phone is not a GSM device, or does not have a memory card, you are pretty much out of luck.
