I'm not sure you have a true Electric Furnace or a Heat Pump, since both are electric.

In any event, Goodman has Owners manuals that you can download in a pdf format. Just look for your model #.

if it is a fuel furnace the pump may have air in the system. here is a web site that will give you the information you will need to to help you fix the problem, there is a manual that will take you step by step to resove the problem, if you need more help understanding the troubleshooting of the system post to this e-mial you will get.

1st, take a picture of where each wire goes to. Look in the owners manual for an exploded view of how it goes together. The heat exchanger most likely comes out from the front of the furnace. You will have to remove and reinstall every componant inside the furnace to get it out. Suggestion, replace the whole furnace. It will be cheaper.

I don't know where you are located, but there is a Goodman distributor in Sacramento, CA. Also in Ontario CA. They are a distributor so they may be able to help you or tell where to find someone who will help. Goodman is also known as GMC or Janitrol.

Is there a diagnostic chart either on the reverse side of the blower door or in your owners manual. It may help you to narrow down what is going wrong.

Operate the furnace with the access door off of the furnace and the blower door switch taped on. Watch the furnace and document what happens. Note if the flame starts but goes out in a few seconds and let me know what you experienced.
