Hi all,
I am trying to rescue an old Dell Dimension XPS 650r from what looks to be a virus. I was able to boot the machine with a startup disk but I am currently in the command line a:\. The drive C is not recognized and I wonder how can I configure some parameters at the autoexec.bat or config.sys to be able to access drive c:\ once the machine boots through drive a:

Hi there check that the drive is found in the bios setting press del. as the computer boots. this will take you to bios you need to check that the HDD is found there first if so then once at a:\ type c:\ then press enter this will access the c:
