Question about Kenwood DDX7017 Car DVD Player
I bought a used car with the KW7017 DVD player. I pushed the reset button thinking it would reset to factory default, but it's asking for a 4 digit password that I can't get. Trying to locate original owner to get password, but is there a way to clear the code my myself.
Thanks in advance,
During code request mode:
Point the remote control to the screen and input this numbers (from the remote control) as faster as you can 55222277
You will not see any change on the screen until you enter the last number.
This will clear the code
If you make a mistake, just reset the unit and start from the top.
Thank you for rating

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
