Bought the PAYG phone new before xmas for my boy. Great phone, everything spot on except for its complete lack of being able to send texts! Sony have sent loads of stuff to the phone to "reset" but nothing is working. Can anyone give me a layman's description of how to sort the problem without throwing it against a wall!
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US. click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Goodluck!

Switch the phone off and remove the battery. Leave the battery out for about 5 minutes then replace and switch the phone back on. leave the phone switched on for about another five minutes before attempting to text again. This cured the same problem on the same phone for me.
Check in your mms settings that you have correct settings activated eg if you are on o2 payg you should choose that setting and save. Also check your internet profile is set to your current network setting.
Let ur phone completely die. Don't charge it or anything when the low battery notice comes on. After it completely dies, put it on the charger only until it says charge complete. U might have to do it a few times to get ur battery performing as it should. If you charge ur battery too often, it causes ur battery to swell (weird I know) and your battery starts resisting charge. Hope this helps!! (I used to have the same phone and the same problem. I did this, and now my mom is using the phone and has an exceptional battery time)
I think you are using PLAIN TEXT FORMAT thats why change it from the options at the top.(the easier one)
The more difficult one is that you got the security options from the outlook which you are using set to high so it won't allow you to insert any pictures. If this is the case browse through the security options and see what it says about attachments and stuff. But i think its more likely to be the first one!
