Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
Ive heard of this issue with windows based devices but its not as common with blackberries. you either have A) software corruption, or B) a bad battery.
to really test either is to get another battery and try it with that, if you continue to have the problem, do a master reset to free up your software corruption. you can back up the info first to avoid loosing everything, and the issue shouldnt transfer back over when you restore.
to do that, download desktop manager and go to backup and restore...select backup and save that file to your desktop.
when your done, go to options, security options, general settings, menu, wipe handheld.....type blackberry, hit the enter key. once your phone is turned on after a few mins, go back to desktop manager and then go to restore...if you continue to have an issue, youll need new software. contact your wireless provider on where to go for that....you will need their sw in order for the phone to work properly with their services.
