I am listening to the radio and its changing from stereo to mono and its driving me crazy is there a way i can set it to stay on stereo or do i deal with that.

Usually that happens if you have poor reception. If it's at home you can install a better antenna or sometimes putting the receiver in a better location will help.

I just bought a 2001 Subaru Forester, I put the key in the door lock to unlock the door and the alarm went off and won't stop. How do I turn the alarm off?

I would try to close the door and press the unlock button on the kay fob. (If it has a remote intergrated with the key). This should unlock the door and turn off any anti-theft devices.

My legacy 15.1 monitor dont want to show pic just show blue screen and says no signal

Hey jag0717
Many problems arise down to physical component issues so try these things before trying anything else.

  1. Double check all cables are correctly inserted
  2. Make sure power is being sent to all devices in the loop
  3. Try the source (Set-Top box, Games Console) on another monitor first if possible
  4. Make sure the monitor is set to the correct output. (HDMI, VGA, Compenent)
After all this has been tested you can easily isolate the problem to be down to the monitor itself.
Let me know the results and good luck!

Installation question

You don't need a dash kit as the vehicle has a DIN opening already. You will need a wire harness for the vehicle, Metra 70-5511 and a 12 ft. A/V RCA cable to go from head unit to the monmitor, and some patience :-)

Here is a pic of the harness http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882309120

Take care,
