I have taken all the steps mentioned above. I also uninstalled the drivers and re-installed them. I have unplugged and plugged back in both the USB and power cord.
I am having the same problem I have done these things ten times at the least whats next?
Don't worry. It's just the time to change the print head!!! very costly....thinking of buying a new printer.
Alarm light keeps flashing and message says wrong cartridge. All was fine until printer was unplugged and set up in another room along with the computer. Same cattridges are still in the ink tanks and they are new. I've removed them and reinstalled but still have the same problem. I cannot even try to do maintenance as with the alarm light on not allowing this process. Could the actual set up be incorrect? I have turned off printer, unplugged and restarted but to no avail.
Thanks for any help.
