Question about Cell Phones

CELL PHONE NOT CHARGING

Just recently my phone takes about 3 days to charge a single bar. This is with a new battery and a new charger. It shows its charging when on but not when it's off like it used to,(with pic of battery on front screen showing charging). But leaving it on takes down the charge faster than it charges,lol ! I emailed verizon on this matter but have heard nothing from there 24 hr service,(or is that 24 days),whatever. Any sugjestions ?

If your phone won't charge via your computer using a USB cable or via your pickup via a car charger, will it charger via the regular travel charger (i.e., plugged into the wall)? If it won't charge that way either, then the issue is with the connection or with the battery. If you replace the battery and it still doesn't charge, then the problem is with the connection. If this is the issue, then I would suggest replacing your phone, especially if it is 2 years or older. If it is a new phone and under 12 months old, then I would suggest getting a warranty replacement from your provider. If it is older, and you don't want to replace it, then try gettin a new battery, however, if it still doesn't charge, then like I said previously, it is the connection and it would be less expensive to replace the phone then to repair the connection. But I would search google for people or forums with similar problems with that Make and Model.

Since you have try several battery, the problem is not battery problem,the problem could be either of any of this two, it might be a charger problem, i will suggest you try using a similar charger to charge the phone, see if it will charge, if it is not charger problem, then, the problem is the charging port of your phone. The charging port of your phone is bad and will need to be replace. once the charging port is replaced, the problem is solve.

Trouble charching battery, after 6 houres only one bar on battery . Charging will not complete.

There are three ares to look at,
There are three different things you can try to determine the real problem of your phone, firstly, try use a similar charger to charge the phone to see if it will hold charge, if it does, it means your charger is bad, get a new charger. secondly, another area you will need to look at is removing the battery on your phone and charging the battery of your phone with a similar phone to see if the phone will charge the battery and hold charge, if it did not, it means the battery of your phone is bad and will need to be replace, lastlt, check, the charging port of your phone might be malfunctioning and not charging your phone, if the two above look good, it means the charging port is the problem, replace the charging port and you will see that your phone will hold charge.

When charging the phone, the battery icon flashes off and on and the phone make a sound is it charging properly

it is not supposed to make any sound when charging, if it does it means there is a problem somewhere.
it is not charging properly. try to turn off the phone and plug the charger. its supposed to bring up a light the show the battery meter and show it charging bar by bar, if it doesn't come up this way, try using the same charger on another phone to see if the charger is working. anything you detect, try to replace the battery and try again.

K550i charging problem


in sony k550i mobile phone battery will not charge through monile charger i will check the charger but it is ok. when charger is connect to mobile then show on charging box make a charge but achually charging is dcressing.

Get the appropriate charger for that phone you may not being charging it at all

Sidekick ID


The sidekick ID has the same type of charging port as the sidekick 3, which are notorious for going bad. The easiset thing to do is get a charging cradle that has a spare battery slot.

Dead battery won't recharge


if it still new and you've still got the warranty then you should ask for replacement of the whole unit.
seems that the problem of your phone is the unit itself, the charging circuit migth have disorders/malfuntioning.
ever tried checking for the specifications and directions for charging the unit.
i greatly suggest that if you got the warranty still, have it replaced.
