Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P8 Digital Camera
Hey Guys. My camera will power on just fine , but sometimes it takes a while before the screen will become fully visible so I can take pictures. When it does this the screen is dark and has flickering lines. Then usually after a couple of minutes it will allow me to see the screen. Then it will work perfect for days, and then all of the sudden it will do it again. It only does it at start up and will never fell while the camera is on.
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:
