BT phone book transfer

I have a Pioneer deh7900bt stereo. to transfer the phonebook from my motorola v3m it says to go into the trasnsfer standby mode then transfer from the phone (refer to phone instructions). But there are no instructions in the phone manuel, and when I enter the transfer standby mode on the stereo, it disconnects the BT connection. Any suggestions?

If you have paired the 2 devices then all you need to do is go into phonebook , pick the number, then I think it is options and send via bluetooth.
the phone should then ask which device you wish to send it to and give you a list of options that it is paired to.
sellect your pioneer and send

The V3M has something called send Vcard.

Disconnect the V3m from the Pioneer (turn off handsfree)

THEN set the Pioneer to Transfer standby. (Select transfer yes)

Then on the phone, point to a contact, select options (don't click on contact, just point to it). Select send v-card, select whatever you named your Pioneer and click ok. ALL info under that Contact will be tranferred. Very Cool.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do i copy a phone book for the Uniden DECT1560 cordless phone

Kathy,
This should do the trick!

Copying Phonebook Entries to Another Handset:
You can transfer one phonebook entry at a time or all phonebook entries at once.
1) With the phone in standby, press the address book icon.
2) To copy one entry, find the phonebook entry you want to copy, press Menu /Select , and then select Copy.
To copy all entries, press Menu /Select and then select Copy All.
3) Move the cursor to select the handset which you want to transfer the entries to and then press Menu /Select .
If you select Copy All, Are you sure? appears on the display screen. Move the cursor to select Yes, and then
press Menu /Select .
4) The phonebook entries will be transferred to the designated handset. During the copy process, the receiving handset shows Receiving and the ID of the sending handset.
5) When the transfer is completed, Done! appears on the handset.

Notes: • The handsets must be currently connected to the same base.
• If the handset you want to transfer to already has seventy entries in its phonebook, you will hear a beep and Not enough memory in receiving unit appears on the display.
• If the selected handset is out of range or data transfer is cancelled, Unavailable appears in the display, Phonebook listings will not be transferred.

Have Fun!!

That probably happens because the phone book is opened on the phone .

Use a computer to transfer the phone book from the phone to the navman using bluetooth or usb cable.

Iphone phonebook transfer

I got a solution:

Used hardware:

Pioneer DEH-P65BT
Jailbroken!! Iphone 3g FW: 3.1.2.
Mac or PC (addressbook on Mac or Outlook on Win)

Steps:

- Sync your contacts trough Itunes with your PC or Mac
- Go to addressbook on Mac (or Outlook on win) and export all your contacts to a vcf file (Called Vcards in addressbook)
- Copy the vcf file to your Iphone (iphoneExplorer / SSH / DiskAid or other solution)
- Download iBluetooth (I used it from the Xsellize source)
- Set up you radio to PhoneBook Transfer (Your phone is not connected to the radio at this point)
- In iBluetooth browse to the VCards.vcf and send it to the Pioneer unit.
- It now says transfer done and the phonebook is stored.

Posted this because it took me days to get it working. Haven't found a working solution on the net.

Also transfering the phonebook from another phone isn't a solution because however the phonebook will be stored it won't be usable by your iphone. The pioneer registers the phonebook to a device so it's absolutely necesarry to transfer it from the actual iphone (or send it from a laptop with a spoofed BT-Mac that matches your iphone)

Good luck!

Can't keep bluetooth connected from my motorola w385 to my Blackberry curve

this is normal behaviour. it looks like it disconnects, but in fact it transfers your phonebook. afterwards (when you see on the avic display that all entries are transferred) you need to set your phone's bluetooth setting to "handsfree profile". then it connects again

Voice on phonebook drives me crazy

If you are lucky enough to have a GSM phone, the easiest way to do this is to store all your phone numbers on your SIM card, (which will not store voice) and keep the phone memory empty and free of the "voice in phonebook".

You will also have the benefit of easily transferring your phone book to another phone in the future since the "phonebook" is on the SIM.

Transferring phonebook from phone to sim card

The razr that i had could only store 4 numbers on the sim card, your phone book is stored on your phone's memory not your sim. I'm pretty sure that you cannot transfer your phone book over to your sim card.
