Question about Canon i80 InkJet Printer

Does not print

My daughter chnaged the print cartriges and after she says it does not print. I got it and found a piece of paper lodged in the assembly at the far right side of the caridge and removed it. However, after turning the printer on and off, it is still not printing. What can I do nnow?

    The drivers are not the problem. The online light flashes between green and yellow.

    My black cartridge was empty and I changed it. But the printer does not print in black any more, while it still prints correctly in colors. I thought the cartridge was not good and I changed it again twice (The last one I bought yesterday), and it still does not print...

Hi you change your cartriges genuien if properly setup your cartriegs
then install your driver & if show your printer then test your print page. not on or off your printer  it is cartriegs problem.

202.16 ERROR


Hello,

The 202.16 error indicated that something is covering the exit sensor in the fuser assembly while the printer is warming up. This usually is caused by a piece of paper being left after a paper jam. First open the top of the printer and remove the toner cartridge, look inside for a piece of paper, if found remove it. put the toner back in and close the cover and press the "check" button to clear the error. If no paper is found then open the back of the printer and look for a piece of paper in the fuser assembly there, if found remove it. If you find a piece of paper in the fuser you will need to press the "check" button to clear the error and resume printing.

Hi printer wont move from paperjam even tho no paper in printer


Hi there,
Check there isn't a piece or scap of paper lodged deep inside. Pull out the power cord, and put your hand in the paper tray as far as it will go. If there is a piece of paper in there, slowly but firmly pull it out - making sure you don't rip the paper!

A piece of foam sponge under the ink catridges has broken, and the printer will not cleanly draw paper for printing - it jams.


The sponge under the print cartridges is to soak up the ink when cleaning the print heads. If part of it broken off and lodged in the rollers where the paper is drawn into the printer then try to locate the sponge and remove it. Sounds like it's lodged somewhere and jamming the paper feed.

When i try print my pictures they are coming out blurred. how can i stop this


1) Do they look good on your PC. If so its a printer issue if not, for some reason or other, you're not taking good photos

2) If they're good on the PC and print poorly then its a printer issue. Which can be many and varied.

Usually, the wrong kind of paper. If you use ordinary vice photo quality paper the ink can run.

Size, are you trying to print a small picture, say designed for 6x4 inches out on a piece of A4 at A4 size.

Printer settings, are the set to the correct type of paper and for photo printouts.

Ink, generaly, generic cartriges don't quite match the accuracy of manufacturer cartriges.

My hp 1012 printer stopped printing.


You've probably slipped a gear or something is lodged inside. Unplug all the cables, take out the paper, lift it up, turn it upside down and shake it. This is good for getting out staples and paper clips. Hopefully no gears are damaged. If problem continues, probably a gear is slipped. If the shaking doesn't dislodge anything then either call a technician or just replace it.

I have an MP210 Canon printer.  It is saying E 3.  The alarm light is on.  When I try to print, it says there's a paper jam; there isn't.  Help?


i had this problem, i was convinced that there was no paper stuck in it, and in my frustration i ended up tilting it backwards and banging it on the table. i found a pen was lodged in the paper feeder. I was so relieved, until the error code was still flashing. then i stuck my hand down the paper feeder (take the paper out first) and found the smallest piece of paper stuck in it. try this.

i am so relieved.

Panafax 550 leaving heavey black lines on pages


Clean the optical area with a soft cotton piece of cloth and window cleaner. How does the cartrige looks like, if you see toner on the drum you may consider replacing the cleaning bladeand the drum if necessary. The cartridge was refilled?

Black ink not printing


This is what worked (so far) with my Dell1.gif AIO A940 printer1.gif that wouldn't print black ink.

It worked for awhile when I chose photo/glossy paper, but then it quit printing again (see below).

PRINT, PROPERTIES, PAPER SETUP, SPECIALTY PAPER, PHOTO/GLOSSY


I got it to print, again, by putting SEVERAL papers in the feeder (instead of just 1) - there is a sensor that is supposed to automatically detect paper type, and it might not be working right, especially with one or only a couple of sheets.
