Bookmark I've bookmarked an eaudio book, but I can't figure out how to resume playing at the bookmark. The book keeps starting over from the beginning.

Nothing needed to be repaired, I just can't figure out how to pick up where I bookmarked in an audio book. The same book has started over again from the beginning three times. I can't listen to the entire 6 hours at one time. I really need to figure out the bookmark.

Thank you for your input though.

Creative Zen V Plus Bookmarks

A little known feature on this player is the ability to use bookmarks, up to 10 of them. Many of you listen to podcasts or audio books which may be fairly lengthy and if you have to stop in the middle of what ever you're listening to, normally when you go back to your player you would have to start all over again.<br /><br />A note about <span style="font-style: italic;">"resuming playback":</span> If you shutdown during playback of a podcast or audio book (not pausing or stopping playback first) your Zen will automatically resume playback when you start it back up.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Zen V Plus Bookmarking</span><br /><br />You can insert bookmarks during playback. I can figure out how to set a bookmark but I can't figure out how to select one to play. Help please. Thanks

A bookmark marks a point within a track, so you can return to it at a later time.

For example, if you are listening to your recording of an interview, insert a bookmark if you need to stop halfway through. When you want to continue listening from where you left off, go to this bookmark.

You can use up to 10 bookmarks at any one time.
To insert a bookmark
  1. Play the track that you want to bookmark.
  2. In the Now Playing view, while the track is playing, press options.jpg and select Set Bookmark.
  3. Select a bookmark number.
If all 10 bookmark numbers have been assigned, clear an existing bookmark. In the main menu, select Music > Bookmarks. Press options.jpg and select Clear Bookmark.
To go to a bookmark
  1. On the main menu, select Music > Bookmarks.
  2. Select the bookmark that you want.

Accessing bookmarks from Creative Zen

To access a bookmark or have the player jump to the bookmark you must...

1. - Setup your shortcut button to jump to bookmarks
1.1 - From the top level menu, go to "System", then "Player Settings", then "My Shortcut Button".
1.2 - Set the shorcut button to "Jump To"
1.3 - In the "jump to" menu select "Bookmarks"

Ok so now you can easily access your bookmarks... and also the jump feature will now work :)

2. - Simply select your bookmark and then press with the PLAY or center button to access your bookmark.

There may be other ways, but that's the way I did it

Hope it helps.

How do you make playlists

I had the same problem. Once you've bookmarked songs (using the squiggly button on the right), go into "library" (using arrow button on the left), then enter (middle button), down to "bookmark", enter, then "favourites 1" (for example), enter, "play all", enter. This will play what you've bookmarked in order.

As for "playlist".... I'm still stumped, but this should do instead!

No longer holds a bookmark

I've had my MuVo V100 for a year and can tell you it only saves the bookmark for the last file played. Hence, if you're into a long audiobook, don't switch to another. I've taken to making note of where I am because if the battery dies while playing it will also go back to the last saved bookmark.

TIP: if you accidentally switch away from a book you're listening to, pull the battery BEFORE turning it off -- it will revert to your last bookmark.
