Can my xbox360 conect online through my pc's wireless internet

I don't think it can. I believe you have to have wireless router or a wireless modem. Not positive about that.

I have been confused about my internet connection lately. My ISP is Qwest DSL and I have friends that have the exact same connection as I do. Now when I'm trying to play an online game using a wired...

when you are playing with a friend and they are hosting it, it can be their connection that is causing the lag, the same goes if you host and they experience lag, the wireless and wired connection will be the same internet speed, but with wireless the data is transfered at 54MBPS over from the router to your xbox, but wired transfers at 100MBPS, the internet speed is always the same with both.

There are other factors which can cause lagging, one of which depends on the amount of people surfing using your ISP at the same time and sharing your line bandwith.

Connecting a DVMRe to a PC

I have done what you are talking about with making the one router act as a network bridge. It is a pain in the **** to do but with enough time it can be done. The main things you need to do are:
  1. Configure the 2nd router as a bridge/access point.
  2. Disable DHCP on that router and give it a static IP address on the same subnet as your main router.
  3. Use the same exact wireless encryption for both routers. I believe I used WPA2 and set the passwords for both to be the same key.
  4. Pray.
LOL. It is a pretty involved project and took me a little bit. The only reason I did this in the first place was I promised my gf that I wouldn't spend 100$ to get my XBOX360 online and since I had a spare wireless laying around I decided to see if it could be done. I'll see if I can dig up a few sites I visited that helped me along the way. Good luck!

well, try to check if you configure your xbox360 properly, if it is correctly configure, well better check the cable which you used to connect your xbox360 and your router.
