You can set the date and time on the machine:

1) Press <Fax>
2) Press <Menu>
3) Use [<] or [>] to get to "User Settings"
4) Use the number keys to enter the date (only use the last two digits of the year) and time (in 24 hr format)
5) Press <OK>
6) Press <Stop/Reset>

Your MP 530 should obtain the time from your computer when hooked up with the MP driver installed.

Setting the date and time in Windows 10
Note: Windows 10 automatically adjusts your date and time for you and only allows you to adjust the time if you disable this feature. If the wrong date and time is being set, you may need to change your time zone, or if you want to increase or decrease the time for other reasons, follow the steps below.

Right-click or tap on the date and time in the Windows Notification Area in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Click Adjust date/time.
Make sure your Time zone is set properly if your computer is displaying the wrong time.
To manually adjust the time, turn off the Set time automatically option and then click the Change button.

Setting the date and time in Windows 8
In the lower right-hand corner of the screen, click or tap the Windows Notification Area where you see the date and time.
Select Change date and time settings... in the bottom of the window that appears (shown below).

Manually: Deselect “Set time zone automatically using current location,” click a location on the map, click the Closest City pop-up menu, then choose the city closest to your location.

Click Clock.

Show date and time in menu bar: Select the checkbox to see the date and time in the top-left corner of the menu bar. In “Time options” and “Date options,” set how you want the date and time to appear.

Announce the time: Select the checkbox to hear the time announced, then choose when you want it announced. If you want, you can customize the voice.

Setting time, date on power book g4

I'm taking it that you are running system 10 so go to system preferences under the apple menu, then go to date and time under System. Go to time zone and allow the time zone to be set automatically and then go to date and time and set the date and time automatically. If you want to set the date yourself you can uncheck the set date and time automatically and then select the date and then the time using the up and down arrows. Hope this helps.

To delete all the records :
  1. Press the MEMORY button
  2. And while holding the MEMORY and the START/STOP button simultaneously for more than 2 seconds all records will be deleted.
To set date/time :
  1. Press the Date/Time Setting button to adjust the date and time (the year flashes on the display)
  2. Press the MEMORY button to advance by increaments of one year and press the Date/Time Setting button,
  3. Press the MEMORY button to advance by increaments of one month and press the Date/Time Setting button,
  4. Press the MEMORY button to set the current day and press the Date/Time Setting button,
  5. Press the MEMORY button to set the current hour and press the Date/Time Setting button (the time is set using AM/PM)
  6. And finally, press the MEMORY button to set the current minute and press the Date/Time Setting button.

Setting the time and date

To set the date, make sure that you are in Rate Set. type in the date such as August 3, 2010 would be entered as 08.03.2010 then press the date time key. This will set the date. To set the time type in the time such as 4:20 PM would be entered as 16.20 then press the date time key and this will set the time.

Ho w to set the date and time

Go to the link below. You need adobe acrobat to read. THere is a section in the manual called "Adjust Date & Time"

For Date:
Put Calculator on RATE SET
Press Time/date key: enter the date using a decimal between the month, day and year (all 4 digits) please the date/time button. It should reset. (Exmple: 01.16.2009)

For time:
Leave Calculator on RATE SET
Press Time/Date key until time shows up. just like date, press the hour then the decimal then the minute. (Example if the time is 10:15 you enter 10 . 15) Press the Time/Date Key and the time is set.
