Question about Sony Handycam DCR-PC110 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I have a Sony DCR PC110e camcorder and when I record to tape the screen recorded is divided into 12 stips. all the odd strips record the action and the even strips just appear grey.
I have tried uploading to PC via firewire to see if it is the playback, and the file features the same 'bars' across the screen.
Hopefully there is a simple reason for this. It first appeared after I ran a whole load of old tapes through it to upload to PC.
My problem with the DCR PC110E Sony camcorder is being unable to download my videos from tape to the PC or laptop through the firewire connector. Have you ever had this problem?

You need to clean the tape department ,and check your firewire pens for problems.
