Question about Gigabyte GA-8S648-L Motherboard
My motherboard's been having a few problems.
It started when I had a power cut. The machine was switched off but pluged in. When the power was restored it didn't beep and fire up straight away. I had to turn it off and on a couple of times.
It then started up ok but it had loaded default BIOS.
This was fine until I had another power out. Now it won't recover. I've changed the battery and unplugged practically everything from the board apart from memory and hd. Still no joy.... any ideas?
Powers up, runs drive check nothing more.
-take out the ramm dimms, than put them back.
I guarantee you this helps.and do it with the power cable out of the power supply
-make a bootable cd with a new bios form the manufacturers site and under dos mode rewrite the bios. This is to be done in case you didnt manage to solve it with the ramm dims.
good luck..bye bye
