Connect the NetGear USB adapter to the USB port of your Laptop, wait for the Laptop to detect the hardware. Once the new hardware is detected put the Driver CD into your laptop CD drive which came along with the product and open the file. Click on auto run and let the driver to be installed. Once the driver is installed the Wireless USB adapter is ready to work

My usb modem [lemon 3g] does not get detected. when i plug the modem it does not show anything i.e usb icon detected hardware etc. when i clikc on cmy computer also it does not show any connection why is...

First, check for the power source, there should be a light indicator on the panel of the modem, else, power is a problem, check your adapter/power cable. Next, is use USB cable/USB port, try to use other USB cable/USB port. Another option is to check your Control Panel - Device Manager, see if there is a USB Modem currently installed. Remove/delete the device from your Device Manager. Going back to Control Panel, select Add Hardware. If still fails to detect, your Modem is dead.
Good luck.

Etaf, still no drivers detected for

Hello
You may need to do it manually,or when windows detects new hardware select the folder with the drivers then look in the subfolders of that file until you find the driver file.

Another way is to device manager and do a driver update on your adapter, pointing it towards the file on your zip drive.

YOu may need to extract all files from your zip drive to your hard drive or create a folder with the drivers in it.

Test and detect pcmcia slot without any card

There is no known test other that physically installing a card .However by default the drivers are installed as the software you are using should detect the hardware, ok look under device manager pcmcia adapters,if you have it installed the software knows its there,so apart from installing a device in the slot thats the only way you will know.
Good Luck

Unable to install software win 2003 server on SE7501BR2 as it didnt detect bootable 2003 cd showing error unable to detect hard drive as we have 2 * 73 scsi pls suggest can it be possible to install redhat...

Okay, has the SCSI system been setup properly? you must adjust some hardware settings to tell the computer what device is the end of the string, and if it is not configured correctly, you won't be able to use some or all of the SCSI hardware. I would check all hardware settings and BIOS settings before attempting that again.
**WARNING** Do NOT open your computer unless you are properly grounded to your computer via ESD Bracelet. any static that is discharged (Usually you don't even see or feel) can damage computer components. Please use extreme caution when working inside a computer.

If the adapter is not detected by your computer, the best way to check if the adapter is bad or not is to tr connecting the adapter to a different USB port and check if the computer will detect it and if still not detected better if you can just connect it to a different USB port and if still not detected on different computer the adapter is already bad...

I have a 2003 GMC Savana Van. The brake light came on and the brake alarm rings continously but will stop if I hit a bump (and then start again if I hit another one). I'm thinking a loose wire but several...

If someone took the time to look at the electrical schematic you will see several grounds in the circuit My first place I would go would be to check all the Grounds and Connections for the Brake Fluid level control, Brake Warning Indicator
The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates the brake warning indicator when one or more of the following occurs:
  • The body control module (BCM) detects that the park brake is engaged. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the BCM requesting illumination.
  • The electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects a low brake fluid condition. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
  • The electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects a closed brake pressure differential switch. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
  • The EBCM detects an ABS malfunction which disables dynamic rear proportioning (DRP) . The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
  • The IPC detects a closed power brake booster alarm switch and closed power brake booster fluid flow alarm switch. The IPC illuminates the brake warning indicator and sends a class 2 message to the radio requesting the brake warning alarm.
  • The IPC performs the bulb check at the start of each ignition cycle. The brake warning indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds before turning OFF.
  • The IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the BCM or with the EBCM.
Driver Information Indicators and Messages
The following indicators are used to inform the driver of several different factors.

Brake Warning Indicator
The Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates the brake warning indicator when the following occurs.
  • The Body Control Module (BCM) detects that the park brake is engaged. The IPC receives a serial data message from the BCM requesting illumination. The brake warning indicator flashes at a rate of approximately twice per second when the park brake is engaged.
  • The EBCM detects a low brake fluid condition or base brake pressure differential and sends a serial data message to the IPC requesting illumination.
  • The IPC performs the bulb check.
  • The EBCM detects an ABS-disabling malfunction which also disables Dynamic Rear Proportioning (DRP) and sends a serial data message to the IPC requesting illumination.

Here is a description of how the system works But i would check my Grounds and connections
