Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I got halo 3 and it worked great for a couple of weeks. Then after a while I could not load the first mission "arrival" which is more of a video than anything but i ignored it because I mostly play live anyways. Then my xbox live subscription ran out so I started to play the old xbox game Star Wars Battlefront II. After about a week and a half I got my subscription back for xbox live and went right back on to Halo 3. When I returned to H3 I could not load any campaign levels or multiplayer maps. The loading would get to about to 20% and start over, after it started over about three times it would say player failed to load content. Because I thought the game was scratched I took it to a freinds house and it played perfectly on his 360. I think this means there is a problem with my 360 and I need help.
It sounds like you have DVD drive issues. You did not say how old your machine was, or how long it's been since you bought it. Microsoft is being nice these days and will fix it for free if it's not old. So the best thing to do before you do anything is give thenm a call 1 800 4-MY- XBOX and see if they can help you. If not, then I can tell you that repairing this system is not easy and I definitely would not recommend you open it and try to fix it yourself. I'll be more than happy to fix it for you, but I don't know where you are. Good luck.
