If your graphics card has a s-video out go though that to ur tv as your tv should have one or if it doesnt you could use a scart adaptor, hope this helps

How do I connect a Logitech z 5500 surround sound to my new Samsung le40d50f LCD tv?

If they both have HDMI connectors then a HDMI lead should be all you need. If the Logitech doesn't have one (I'm assuming the Samsung will) then I would contact Samsung or read the manual about connecting Hi-Fi systems to it.

I need a wiring diagram to connect a samsung tv, sky+HD, DVD recorder, Wii and Playstation 3...thnx

all you have to remember is out of one into the other IF got Ariela on house that goes into sky then out of sky in to DVD recorder and out of that and into tv

on back of sky hd if you are going to use HDMI cable put cable into sky box and other end into tv ( you will have ot put tv on HDMI input/source)
or use scart lead in stead
THIS DEPENDS ON HOW YOU WANT TO CONNECT PLAYSTATION
everything else is colour coded

Black line going down the screen

hi all .ive had the same problem,a thick black line down screen.sometimes it flickers from top to bottom and other permantly in view.but i have solved it.forget your ic boards and taking apart tv.have you got either a ps3 or wii connected to tv.if so unplug power lead from socket and relocate in seperate socket.make sure the lead is completely free of any other leads and you might just find this works.i think the power lead creates some sort of frequency that the tv picks up .good luck hope it works

Got samsung le37a456c us as monitor

This samsung as pc monitor has an easy solution. after trying everything on many different sites:- rebooting, locating tv in settings, all the different sequences of conecting and turning pc and tv on, resolution settings. all this was a complete waste of time. SOLUTION:- i read all these people with the same problem and many had tried laptops and pc's on same tv yet always using same vga lead. so i decided i'd look at problem not in pc or tv but the lead, i borrowed a vga lead from I.T. department and as soon as i plugged this lead into my samgsung tv my pc option was active and i'd not even connected pc at that point. so i know its a total lead oriented problem.

Connecting my laptop to TV

Hi Stomlin,

If the TV has a VGA socket, and all modern set have, use a VGA lead. That will get you the best picture quality.

You will also need a 3.5mm jack plug lead for the sound.

Andy
