Hi,
There are a couple of steps to be performed to verfiy whether your laptop is handshaking with the newtwork printer. First assign the printer with a Static IP address. This information is provided in the administartor guide of the printer. This setting can usually be found in the network settings of the printer.
Please set the subnet mask, and the default gateway. This info is found in your PC. Click start, Run, type in CMD, and new black window will pop up, type ipconfig/all press enter, this will show all the network information you will need for this. This was the printer communicating with your PC from the printer. Now the other way round.First delete the old driver of the printer and reinstall the driver. Most manufactures provide an automated click next type of install software. You can search their website for the the drivers. After reinstalling now try to print.

My HP 3015P will no longer print PDF files. This is a new issue. Anyone have a solution?

I'm having the same problem with three networked P3015 printers on a Windows 2003 server. They stopped printing PDF files last week. The universal PS driver from HP works, but it's a pretty ugly solution. I'd like to know why the PCL driver just stopped working.
Btw, we're printing from Acrobat 9.4.2. Word, Excel, and other office printing is fine still.

Just got a HP laptop for work that's running windows 7. It won't find our HP 5610 printer at home even tho I've downloaded the right driver

Is the printer directly connected to the laptop by a USB cable? Try a new cable. Check that the USB ports work by plugging in a known working device.

If you are using a print server or USB hub, try a direct connection. (If networked, check that your firewall isn't blocking the access by disabling it. If the print server is another computer, make sure that computer's firewall isn't blocking the laptop (trust level between the two machines).

I hope this helps.

HP CM1312 on small office network.

do you have a printer server setup in the network,if so try restarting the server when it happens and see if the prints will print, check with your network administrator, the printer spooler might be at fault, also try adding more memory to the printer.

Can't print to HP 2600n over network

The LaserJet 2600N has a built-in print server and can be connected to the local network (normal ethernet cable) directly. While printer sharing via Windows should work, I found it much more convenient to access it without the need of a hosting computer - you do not need to switch on the desktop PC for printing from the Laptop, for example, its also printing faster.

Cannot print from laptop to printer using wireless print server

This is probably the Software Firewall on your laptop

you should probably tell your firewall software that you have an internal network (Laptop-desktop-printer) you should add the IP range of the wireless network as a trusted network.

Wireless laptop not printing

Indeed, you don't need the print server. Since your HP 6310 already has an integrated network port, you may setup and use it on your laptop the same way you do with your desktop. If you can browse the Internet wirelessly with your laptop, you should also be able to print.

Documents not printing

Hi How to check the print server is in the wireless network or not!! Check under the Router Setup page Router's ip address... Check if you are able to ping the Print Server Ip address....Since it the router will assign a ip address from DHCP range.. If you are able to ping the router's ip address and the print server ip address then the print server is in the Wireless LAN... Try the following steps. 1. Go to run and type "cmd" press enter 2. type ipconfig. 3. Check the range of ip address...if its 192.168.0.XX 4. Try pinging that ip address.. 5. If able to ping the router and print server.. Then the wireless network is fine... Somehow some of the printer's don't work with some of the print servers.. Check if D-link does support the printer or not!!!! for this particular model of the router...
