Bissell pro heat 7901w

Hi Do you have an exploded view of the internals. It was not working properly so as I was taking it appart a couple of broken pieces fell out.The switch knob from floor to tools does not work. Can see no connection from the back of the knob to activate anything, an exploded view would let me know what is missing or broken so I can order relpacement as we use it a lot. Thanks Gary

You need to order a hood assemble. it comes with the switch. make sure you are careful putting the hood back on. in some cases you may need to get the whole housing. there are 6 screws holding it together. before putting the housing back make sure to put a small block of wood under the bottom between the wheel not on the wheels. this will help to lift the bottom so you can screw back the housing.

Got a broken piece from dc25 wand locking mech plus a small clear plastic clip, how does it go back together. It was open to use hose when it toppled over and fell.

Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.

In order for us to determine exactly which piece has broken and how to resolve this, we would need to take some further details when you have your DC25 easily to hand.

At your earliest convenience, please call us on 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU). If a repair or replacement part is needed, we should also be able to confirm if this would be covered under the Dyson warranty.

We'll look forward to speaking with you.

I was cleaning it good under the plastic cover that screws on and acci dently broke the lil flap that switches from floor to tool upholstery attachment so the main cover had to be be removed to put...

I did the same thing to mine, I was lucky enough to have both pieces lying in place. I still had to take it apart to get to the other parts and cleaned the off with acetone and I use "Gorilla Super Glue" can be found most anywhere for $5 for a 0.53oz bottle. It's pricey but it works. Mine has lasted for about a year now with switching the leaver often enough to forget that I ever had to glue it till now! Main thing to do is to make sure the pieces are held in the proper alignment until the glue has fully cured it says 30 seconds but I would put a few layers on the broken area and let dry for 15 minutes before reinstalling it, make sure you check the piece for proper fit before you glue it permanently. The reason I used this over a JB Weld or similar was due to the narrow hole that it goes through right where I broke it. JB Weld needs to have a small build up to work and this is a "flexible"Super Glue meaning it won't just snap and break if it's under force of twisting or bent slightly like an epoxy or a Crazy Glue liquid or gel will.this is the part you are asking about correct?zinda_0.jpgzinda.jpg

Sonic blue DVR4400 belt is broken. Can I buy a replacement part?

Hi, tried to find an exploded view of parts for you on line but was unable to. I did find the company's web address at this URL"
I would assume that if you were to contact them you could get a new drive belt if you wanted to try and fix it yourself. They would most likely try to get you to send it in or take it to a repair shop. Please let me know how you make out. I will be happy to help you further if I can.
