Question about Videoseven V7 L19PS 19" LCD Monitor
Hi hope you can help me, reinstalled fresh copy of windows because the activation date had passed, now my monitor wont stay on light is on green but only few seconds then back to orange
SOURCE: 17" lcd monitor V7
90% of LCD monitors failures are due to bad caps, as you can see in my albums.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Testimonial: "thanks bro "
The fact that you can see a faint picture indicates that the monitor is working but the backlight circuit has a problem. The typical failures are blown transistors or bad capacitors. This can be troubleshot if you know how to unsolder and check the components with a meter. Don't know how technical you are, but if you are not, you could take to to an electronic repair service to fix. Hope this helps you.
