MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format.
You can download mp3 music files from the Internet toyour computer and then copy them to your MP3 player.
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs tomp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and thencopy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable tothe MP3 player and the computer. You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.
Click on this link for instruction on converting musicfiles to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files
the problem with this is normally the format. Sony Don.t normally play .WMA files they have to be converted to .Mp3 files. if that doesn't work then some media players need set storage locations to work, look in the instruction Manuel or try sending the info to your device using windows media player
You should of got a disc with your mp3. You need to download that.
Then plug it in through USB onto your comp/laptop. Then download a song you like on your computer. I use limewire to download music.
Then simply play all the music on windows media player. I do them all at once (not so there all playing just so one plays then the other does and so on just like a album but on media player) then if it doesn't recognise your mp3 click "sync" then click "now playing" then "sync all"
Hope I helped
Download the latest version of itunes onto your pc from here http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ it is free. This will let you load music and videos for your ipod then sync your ipod, and let your view your music vids etc,,, using itunes.
If you do not want to lose anything from your ipod that you have already saved then click on the link below and download the program. It will export your ipod data into itunes, so you will not lose anything you already have on there. Once you have created a library in itunes you only need to plug in your ipod and it will automatically update your ipod using the playlist you created. http://www.ipod2computer.com/index.php?SRC=6&gclid=CNPN9JDG0ZYCFQOx1AodBhhV3Q
Easy...download Windows Media player version 11 - up-load any cd onto it... click on Sync and drag and drop your music into it (if it still does not recognise your player...click on refresh in sync and it will find it)
