You have indeed been sent the wrong element. the one you have recieved was fitted to earlier models than yours, and is not interchangeable.
You need get it changed for the correct element.
Please rate my comments.
Thankyou.

Testimonial: "Thank you it is very frustrating as all the websites point to this part number needed for no heat but fan ok in bottom oven."

    Hi again.

I have found where you can get the correct element for your Neff oven

    Go to:

Click on NEFF, then click on Elements.

Find your model number, and you should see pic of 2 different kinds of element.

As far as i can tell from the info you have given, the one you need is the 1800 watt one.

    Stock number-ES209574.

Hopefully, this will solve the problem for you.

Replaced failed circular element in main oven. Still not working and code 555 displayed when power turned back on

Make sure you have 220 volts at the wall plug for the oven. If not try resetting the circuit breaker for it. You may need to replace the breaker if it is several years old.

My Neff U1421 bottom oven has failed.

Probably the ring element. If the clock is flashing zeros or 8's the bottom oven will not operate but the top will. Make sure the clock is set (doesn't have to be the correct time, just not flashing) If the fan and light then work but no heat, defo the element part no 499003

My neff b1421 does not heat up and has left a "chalky dust" substance in the oven?

The dust is from where the ring element has blown. remove the back panel 4-6 torx 20 screws and the blow on the element should be pretty obvious, part no is 499003. can be replace from inside the unit, one screw on the right of the ring and two on the holding bracket. Obviously, isolate from mains, be careful when you remove the element at the bracket side, so as not to let the connection wires drop into the back cavity or you will have to remove the whole oven and back of the oven to retrieve them. One tag on each prong of the element (doesn't matter which way round they go)
Best of luck

Main fan oven not heating

If the light and the fan are working then it is the heating element that has failed. You need to replace it.

Its not a difficult job but you have to take the back off the oven. The heating element is usually in a circular shape around the fan housing.

You have to disconnect the wires to the heater and remove the retaining screws, fit the new heater and reconnect. Remember to switch off the power before starting work

We have a hotpoint cooker UY46, our electric tripped the cooker off and , now the nob and grill works but the bottem/main oven is turning on and the fan is circulating but not getting hot ? please help ;(

You need to replace the element. Very easy job remove the back plate from inside the oven (4 screws) and you will see a circular element held in place by one screw in the centre of the fixing plate. Remove the fixing screw then remove two wires and refit new element job done.

Bosch oven heater ring replacement

Hi, the fan is held in place with a left handed nut, once undone, then remove the steel drive washer by giving it a light tap, finally it is a case of shear brute force applied evenly. All you need is a 10ml spanner and a medium size cross head screwdriver plus a bit of muscle.

Neff u1271 oven not heating

Found the fault. It's the heat ring in the main oven. MAKE SURE THE MAINS POWER IS OFF PRIOR TO COMMENCING THIS WORK!!!!! 1.Simply remove the four screws that fix the fan surround in the main oven. 2.Remove the rear cover fixing screws and remove the rear cover. ( the cable passes through this so just rest it to one side ). 3.Remove the two push on spade connectors from the heater element ( positioned just down and to the right of the fan assembly ). 4.Remove the four heater element fixing screws from inside the main oven. 5. The tricky bit. . . There is one more fixing at the top of the fan in the main oven. I could not get the fan off its spindle, but the next step sorted this out. 6.Remove the three fan fixings from the rear of the oven. This allows the fan to wobble/move enough in the oven to remove the final heater fixing screw at the top of the fan. 7.Pull the heater element into the main oven. No doubt it has a very grey and flakey appearance to part of it! 8.Buy a new one and replace it in reverse order, remembering to replace all fixing screws as you go. 9. If you forget which way the cables on the heater element go, the one with the red marks on it goes to the left as you look at the back of the oven from the outside. ( nearest the fan assembly ) I know this all looks a bit long winded, but it really is quite simple if you follow the notes above! Hope this helps someone. Might just save a ridiculous call out charge from the professionals!!!! Best of luck, Keith.
