Re: electron microscop service manual
You can do a search on the internet to see if you can find it for free. there are several good sites to get manuals. I am not sure that it would be proper to list anyone specific but they are out there. Just do a search either on the part number of the unit or search for "free service manuals" you will find them. If you cannot find the one for your model then call the manu. You will have to pay for it but it would still be cheaper than taking it to a repair shop.

Hello It is an electronic component mistake in the circuit board. Even though the volume is controlled by a knob, it actually works in cnjuction with and electronci circuit, usually controlled by an IC in some sets or with a transistor with others. You have to find out the faulty component on board. It is really a skilled work. Eventhough the faulty component won't cost more, loacating it is a skilled job indeed. You must have thorough knoledge in electronics, and the schematic diagram of your set. You must have knoledge to follow the schematic diagram too. You may be pretty handy, but this is not enough find out the faulty component. Must be an expert and must have succician expereince in repairing electronic circuits. OK.
I would suggest that you obtain a copy of the service manual for this audio system.
The service manual will provide you with all the components used and their specific part number then you can order the part from the manufacturer or the local supplier of electronic parts.
A good source of manuals can be obtained at:- http://www.user-manuals.com/
If you are still having the same problem with your
denon UD-M50 I might be able to help. I have fixed a number of them in
the past and have the necessary maintenance manual and knowledge of a
company that can supply spare parts. Disassembly looks very complex,
especially when the problem is with the carousel but once you have an
understanding of the mechanism it's not that difficult. Care should be
taken when manually removing and reloading the disc trays as damage can
result to the 'Teeth' alongside each. Spare trays are available. All my
repairs involved the removal of the carousel mechanism in order to
align the trays. I can copy the relevant sections of the manual dealing
with the re-alignment which is critical but again if followed exactly
you should have no trouble. If you respond with an Email address, I
will be only too pleased to forward you the schematics etc.
blueseyes- I also reside in the LA area (Whittier) I also have a SoundSpace5 system less the external power supply (powerblock) My background is in electronics & repair. If U R willing, I can look @ your power supply to see if it is something I can repair for "free" if the parts are not too costly. I can then measure the voltages & determine what I need for my system. I would only need Ur powerblock because I have my own system. I have tried for months to get a schematic diagram, w/no luck. The Customer Service @ Nakamichi is of no help what-so-ever... Thank You Very Much; rexfreddy
