Brand new elitegroup NFORCE3-A with a new Sempron 64 3000+processor, brand new hard drive with no operating system on it yet, brand new video card and brand new power supply. This powers on but has no video and has a single beep that keeps beeping. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Its not the motherboard, its the processor speed, RAM size, and hard drive space, and video card capability that counts.Your processor speed well meets this criteria and also your RAM size is within spec for Windows 7, and im sure you will have in excess of 16GiG hard drive space. So its all down to your video card. You may need to install DirectX 9.Hope this helps :)
It is impossible to fry a motherboard by using the wrong processor, the board simply won't post. You can use a chart at the ECS website, your motherboard is a Socket A type. Looks like the fastest processor that they have tested is a Athlon XP 3000+.
If the RAM is incompatible with your board then yes it would not allow a boot. Make sure your front panel power wire is plugged into the proper spot on the motherboard and retry. If it's the RAM then you will still have the problem. If it was the wire loose or in wrong spot then it should work. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
