Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Help please my speakers just stopped one day for no reason , ive tested them on my hi fi and they work, my pc says NO DEVICE CONNECTED but there is please help
Try to reload your drivers for your sound card.
Make sure there are no conflicts with any new software and or hardware that you recently installed.
If you are using XP try to restore your computer to a date when your sound was working.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: speakers stopped working
It's more than likely your audio device driver. You may need to install or update the driver before the audio will output sound, or a speaker icon can be added to your systray.
Tell us in more detail about your computer system and we may be able to point you to the driver for download.
