How do i pair my phone to play on my insignia speaker?

1. Press and hold the button to put the speaker in "Pairing/Connecting" mode. You should see a red and blue light flashing in rapid succession somewhere on the speaker.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on the phone and tap on Scan. The phone will start scanning for nearby Bluetooth devices. When you see that it detected a device with a name similar to the speaker's name, tap on the name to pair with the phone. If you are asked for a passcode/passkey, enter '0000' or '1234' (without the quotes). If the two pair, the light on the speaker will turn to a steady blue and you will see 'Connect' on the phone. Tap on Connect and then you will see Connected on the phone. Your phone and the speaker are now connected.

The steps above should be detailed in the set up guide that came with the speaker. There may even be a passkey/code provided in the guide. Use that one for pairing instead of the passkey I suggested above. Please note that pairing is a one-time procedure, required only the first time you are connecting the phone to the speaker, a "get to know you" procedure. After that, you just need to connect the two.

Iphone won't detect bluetooth

It's probably not the speaker, your phone is not recognizing the device. This is the link How to troubleshoot Bluetooth Connections from Apple:

I have a philips mms321 speakers. they are working fine on my laptop but not working on my PC. I think i need to install some drivers on my PC. Can u guide me which driver to install??

Go to the website http://www.ma-config.com/
there go to the "detect your configuration" option, follow the automatic detection step.
it will detect all the devices attached with the computer and from there you can install the sound drivers.
If you know the model number and the make of the computer...go to there website and you can download the drivers from the website as well

Why isn't my computer detecting my speakers

Computers do NOT detect speakers. Computers detect sound cards, which is the device that speakers plug in to but they are not aware of whether you are plugging in headphones, an amplifier or speakers.
The most common problems here are:
A: Your speakers are not plugged into the proper hole on the sound card. (most are color coded, make sure your cables jack color matches the color of the hole you are inserting it in.)
B: Your sound card is not installed properly. (This requires more info to resolve)
C: You volume is muted. (Instructions below)
D: Your speakers require power and are not plugged in or turned on. (Have you used these speakers before? Do they require power, is the power on?)
Go to your Control Panel under Sound and check your settings, make sure that your volume is NOT muted and that you have some sort of sound card showing.
If that does not help then please send me that Make/Model of the Computer you are using and Operating System (XP, Vista, etc) so that I may give you a specific answer with simpler instructions.

Are they wireless speakers? You might try updating the sound card driver.

I would suggest you test your speakers with another source of audio (eg. walk-man). Using cellphone radio intruption isn't a good test.

Then you can try to troubleshoot your sound card.

1) assuming your using windowsxp you should download the drivers from the manufacutrers website. (if you have a brand name computer eg. dell, sony etc.. it makes determining your sound card driver and download easier). If generic system you have to open your computer and locate the sound-card manufacturer. (NOTE: please use caution when opening computer and have to be grounded and in a secure surface with proper tools.

2) once you have downloaded the driver; right-click "My Computer" and choose manage. From the device manager

choose sound and remove the driver. Reboot your system and when it boots up it should detect your sound card;  from the location you have downloaded and save the files update the driver when it prompts you.

Hope this helps

My computer wont detect my speakers!!!!!

Applogies for whoever the idiot is on other sarcastic solution, as it rears it's ugly head every now and then. The problem won't be your speakers, but the sound or audio driver. if you post your pc or notebook details and operating system back here, I will try to point you in the right direction.
