Question about Datamax M-4208 Thermal Label Printer
we have installed all drivers for the Datamax M-4208 Printer and it also shows "ready" on the top left corner, the Computer sees the printer as well but when printing something it shows "offline" in the Computer and no print comes out at all. It seems, as if the printer receives no signal. Who can advise?
Thanks for your help :-)

I belive that, PC can detect the Printer and the only problem, the drivers are unabled to route the print queue and that creates a problem.
If your OS is XP/Vista/2000, try the below steps.
1.Right click on MY computer ->Properties->Hardware->Device manager.
2.You will get Device manager window popping out.
3.Scroll down to "Universal Serial BUS controllers".Click on the (+) sign.
4.Check for the "USB Composite Device" and right click on it, click Uninstall. ((IMPORTANT NOTE:WE HAVE TO UNINSTALL THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, TO KNOW WHETHER IS THE PRINTER'S USB COMPOSITE DEVICE, RIGHT CLICK ON USB COMPOSITE DEVICE AND PROPERTIES,look for what location says, Eg -LOCATION : Datamax M 4200)).
5.Disconnect the USB and reboot the PC.
6.Connect the USB after reboot, you will get popup "Found new hardware".Then the Drivers will be installed Automatically.
