It sounds like your formatter board is damaged. This is the board that your printer cable/network cable plug into. I would also reseat your toner cartridge.

You might be able to find a broken 1300 on ebay for cheap money.

Good luck my friend,

HP 1300 -- toner is smudged along the left edge after crinkly sound

This is a common problem with some HP printers. The fuser sleeve inside the fuser assembly gets torn along the edge and print can no longer be fused in that area and the paper will crinkle there. The only solution would be to replace the fuser, which for that printer it would not be worth repairing.

2 pages are accrdianed in the very back of the printer. I cannot see a way to open to get them out. Is this a case where I have to just pick them out?

Paper might be roller on teflon sleeve, take out fuser from the printer, remove paper gently to avoid damage to teflon, after removing the paper observe that is there toner particles deposited on teflon sleeve, if observed replace the teflon sleeve, other wise this problem will repeats again & again.
Note: for this process technical skills required.

Black marks on paper looks like a tear in the back roller. Is there a replacement roller. Cant seem to get it apart to see what I need

If you are talking about the fuser, yes there is a fuser sleeve you can buy from eBay, if you knows how to fix printers. If not then buy a refurbished fuser and ask for instructions on how to replace it.

My Hp 1300 laserjet printer doesnt get ready after initializing but giving orange blinking light, what could be the solution because i have checked the toner is in properly .

Remove the paper and re-loaded it, if it still giving you the blinking, turn it off and hold the go key down while turning it on then release it, this should rest any errors, worse case you have a bad fuser.

HP LaserJet 1300 Printer: black vertical lines on both side of paper

for this model.. first check if your toner cart is good.. if it's good.. then the cause of your problem is your printer fuser sleeve.. fuser is where the paper is heated up.. and when you start having dirty line print out.. it show that the fuser sleeve(top part of the fuser) is torn..
if you send to HP.. they will probably charge you the whole fuser.. which is expensive.. you can always replace the fuser sleeve only..and it cost not much.. you can always replace it by yourself if you are able to remove the fuser unit..other thing.when you switch on the printer, can you hear sound like paper been crumble at the exit of the printer?

Paper comes out wrinkled & dark on one side

Your fuser is worn out. It can be replaced as an assembly, but sadly it is actually less expensive to replace the printer these days.
The wrinkling is due to a worn pressure roller, and the darkness is from the combination of a worn fuser sleeve, and the worn pressure roller 9all located within the fuser)

Attention Light Is Rapidly Blinking Orange

sorry I got it, usually you may try:
1) check all paper road no paper inside include the area betweem input tray and cartridge unit the area wetween cartridge and fuser unit and output tray.
2) check 4 sensor input sensor near the input tray roller, marging sensor between input roller and cartridge unit, cartridge sensor at oneside of cartridge unit body, fuser sensor near fuser roller. usually need to clean or adjustment the position.
3) check input roller and cartridge unit and fuser unit at running condition when the power on.
anyone nothing running show error light blink, also show the hardware trouble if all sensors are normal.

HP 1300 LJ Fuser Film

If you didn't have the orange light to start with and were replacing the sleeve due to a torn or damaged sleeve it sounds like you haven't plugged everything back in. The Error is an electrical fault with the fuser circuit.

Verify that all wires are plugged back in. Two areas to pay specific attention to are as follows. (1.) BOTH slide clips witth wires that you removed on the upper fuser edges to mount the new sleeve. Thats the connections for the ceramic element. If you get to having to uninstall and check the fuser, put an ohm meter on both ends of the element to ensure it's not shorted. My meter when on ohms has a beep when the leads are touched together when the meter is measuring ohms. Check for the beep when touching both ends of the element and that will prove the element good.

(2) On the board in the base of the machine, there are some plug in connections on the lower board very close to the rear edge and just about centered left to right. It's a cluster of about 3 or 4. Unplug the connections and pay close attention to the height of the pins inside the connection. One of those connections has a nasty habit of the pins slidding through to the other side and not making good contact. If I remember right its the right hand connection in the cluster or the one next to the right one. You can use the connections rest to it as a visual referance for the height. If the pin or pins have pushed down, carefully pull them back up with needle nose pliers or tweezers and replug the connection back in.

Hope that helps you. Just in case, heres a free manual PDF link to use to resolve. It's a 1200 manual as the 1300 wasn't listed but the processes are identical. Most of the parts are the same but check first before ordering any parts.

Hope that helps you.
