Hi,

All MS-DOS batch (.bat) files can be edited using Notepad. You may need to un-check Read Only in the file property if you wish to save.

Good luck and kindest regards.

Try this.
Right click on the desktop and create a new Text Document, rename it spooler.bat
Be sure your computer is set to display file extensions otherwise you will end up with a file called spooler.bat.txt but the .txt will not be displayed. Right click on the file and select edit. type the following:
net stop spooler
net start spooler

Save the file.
Between print jobs, run this by right clicking on the file and Run as Administrator. Maybe restarting the spooler will work and you will not have to reboot.

Hello I am not able yto get into quickbooks

Hi,

If you were able to open the Quickbooks before then you can try these steps:

Run reboot.bat to register QuickBooks files in Microsoft Windows:
  1. Open the folder containing the reboot.bat file:
    • Windows 7 or Vista: Right-click the QuickBooks icon on your desktop and select Open file location.
    • Window XP:
      1. Right-click the QuickBooks icon on your desktop and select Properties.
      2. Click Find Target.
  2. Double-click the reboot.bat file.
  3. Restart the computer - Reopen Quickbooks.
If these would not work:
You have to reinstall Quickbooks.

Hope this helps!

Than you in advance for any and all help pertaing to my issue. Problem: 3-4yr old HP laptop. Did have Win XPsp2 on it. HDD went bad. Used Barts PE to create bootable cd-rom with half working Win XP, but...

Why do it the hard way? If your HDD is bad, most probably the system files are corrupted too and getting/making a bootable CD from the HDD files is just wasting your effort. If you laptop CD/DVD drive is still good, then use the options below: -

1. Go to any torrents site download "hp oem xp" disc from the site & burn the bootable image to a CDR.

2. Go the the Hp support Site & download the XP drivers for your Laptop model.

3. Then you can do a new installations on your Laptop.

Hope it helps.

Will not run xp pro i'm stuck in 2000 mode mother board is ak77 pro 133 vt8233 will not run xp pro i've been told im pretty much sol. Is this true?

If you have a valid Win XP Pro CD and want to install the operating system you'll need to format your hard disk drive. If you have allot of data on you're hard disk drive, (In Win 2000) Suggest you create a second partition within the free space of you're hdd and install windows XP Pro. Boot you're system with the XP CD. Pay close attention to the display screens. Follow the instructions for creating a second partition.
Format the new partition. (Quick). Install windows XP on the new partition. Once completed you can copy your personal data to win XP.
If you choose to keep the win 2000 partition and you do not wish to have a dual boot system than remove/delete the root files from the 2000 partition. These files; Autoexec.bat and Boot.ini. You're new XP Boot.ini should read like this;
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect /usepmtimer
Once you're satisfied an no longer need win 2000 use windows diskmgmt.msc from the run command to delete the win 2000 partition.
Win 2000 uses a FAT16 where Win XP uses the FAT NTFS.

Cheers!

How can i play the ps-2 game in pc

Make an .ISO or MDS file of the disk and save it to you hard drive. ImgBurn is good for this and free too.
Now download PCSX-2 emulator and load the .iso or the MDS file and enjoy!

Note:
The PCSX2 0.9.4 emulator installer package includes a Compatibility list for you to check your game against and a selection of patches which will make some games go further.

PCSX2.exe is a Virtual Memory build and should be faster than PCSX2t.exe, this build however requires Win XP Pro or Win XP Home Edition (SP2).

PCSX2t.exe is a TLB build, and is slower than the Virtual Memory build, use this if you do not have a Win XP OS, or are having trouble running games with the VM version.

Good Luck

I am not a techie and I bought two Canon HV20 cameras for a small video project we are doing in Florida after reading some sensational reviews. We took the first batch of tapes to our "producer" who...

Yes..it's available from a reseller that works with Canon. If you can give me the actual model number from that unit, and perhaps a serial number, we'll be able to proceed.

OTOH, that question about the Canon and Final Cut, that's usual. Those folks don't even go to the same conventions or seminars.

Digital madness.
