Have you tried calibration? (All menu>setup>screen calibration)
Do you use screen guard? If it is dirty then touch screen may not work.
Sometimes a simple restart may also solve the problem.

Oh, Sorry! As your touch screen is not working, you can't go to setup th this method. Try this:
Activate the voice command menu by pressing the voice command key. (between the camera key and USB port on the right side of the phone, the flap should be open)
No say "Open Setup" after the beep sound.
    Setup will open.
Now using the five way switch between the green and red buttons at the bottom of the phone, go to screen calibration. (keep on pressing the center key downwards, till screen calibration is selected, then push the center key to select)
Touch you stylus on the screen where indicated.
Hopefully this will restore the touch function.

Screen not sensitive to touch

That\'s unfortunate because the phone is mostly touch-controlled.

Do you have a screen protector installed? Some people have said that the MING is one of the few touchscreen devices that doesn\'t work well w/ screen protectors. Try taking yours off if you\'re using one.

My A1200 Touch Screen is not Working

Well, I bought two A1200 that have the same problem but I bought them to use as modems. There is one thing that makes me believe that it is the digitizer, the phone works great, you can receive calls, use the camera etc. everything that works with the buttons. So I bought a touch screen in Ebay (about 10$) to get this fixed, if you want to do it by yourself take care, you need to solder the touch screen, this isn't very easy. If you want to go by the more secure solution buy a complete screen with touch screen (about 40$). You can find manuals searching in google.
I hope that info helped something.
