I would go with the 801.And ithink u meant the 4501 not 4051.Both super power amps. competition stuff.your woofers are 4ohms dual voice coils.so you can series the coil on eaach woffer and use the two channels on the amp.they play at 2ohms.I think if you drop it down to 1 ohm you really be taxing you alternator that is series power.Yioou would need a special alternator.Even with them running in 2 ohms you better hav eat least a 2 farad cap.OR two batteries.. ! more thing don 't pump it up with window s closeed .you'll pop them.serious dbl. you be pumping.I'm jealous.Rating please and enjoy.

My mtx ts5510 stopped working while driving. Was hooked to an mtx thunder 81000 class d and its still working. ????

Inspect speaker for loose wires/broken wires. Check inside box for loose connection. Blown fuse on amp. Ive literally pulled the wires out of the speaker. The little mesh ones from the terminal to the cone. Look for that. If you do find something broken or bad. remember you can call MTX and fix for a flat rate on most evrything they carry. Ive sent several amps there. normally around $100

How can i bridge a mtx 9500 using a mono amp?

You cant bridge it to the MONO AMP . You can only bridge subs & speakers to 2 CH & 4 CH AMPS that are bridgeable. Because if it appears that there is 2 channels on a Mono amp its so its convenient for you to hook up 2 4ohm subs to it easily But both channels are actually connect internally together in parallel inside the amp unlike a 2 channel they are separate.

So just connect your mtx 9500 to a plus and a minus and doesnt matter which since all the + terminals of are connected together and - are connected together already.

Whats important is on the side of the sub/box it reads 2 ohms. The lower the ohms the more power the Mono amp will put out. Mono amps are designed to handle 2ohm loads.

If it reads 4ohms The MONO amp is the wrong amp to use cause the power will be weaker. So if you have a 1000 Watt Mono amp at 4ohms the sub will only get 500 WATTS Max while a 2 ohm will get the full 1000 Watts.

If it reads 4 ohms connect it to a 2CHANNEL AMP and BRIDGE IT (connect + of the sub to 1st channels positive of the amp then connect - of the sub to 2nd channels negative of the amp) . The power will be doubled when you bridge it on a 2 channel amp. NOW if it was a 2 ohm sub and you bridged it to the 2 channel amp it will fry the subs and ruin the amp. 2 CHANNELS CANT TAKE A 2OHM LOAD BRIDGED OK.

Building a ported box for three audiofonic 12" subs but need spec

you need to find out factory reccomendations for airspace and port size. Many people with lots of experience building boxes still fail to do this and build good quality boxes, but for the wrong speakers.

One is broken

Does it smell funny?Smell around the top of the magnet and see if it smells like burnt plastic. If it does then the voice coils are burnt.Push down in the center of the sub if it dont move at all or has a grind the the voice coils are burnt up.Look at the lead going from the wire hook ups to the speaker cone are the intact? If not thats your problem.
