Why after installing new ink cartridges, the system says to realign scanner. never saw this before.

Realignment procedure is typical when replacing ink cartridges. It is a pretty straight-forward process and takes only a few moments. Most printers provided detailed instructions on the alignment page it prints - otherwise Google your printer for instructions. Alignment ensures that there are no gaps or white lines in text or images.

Replacing ink on an epsom wf7010 with generic ink

Try Genuine Epson cartridges and if the white strips disappear then you know it's the generic carts. If not then clean the printer heads, if that doesn't do it then get a new printer.

Changed black cartridge and now only colour printer will print in is blue/green

The black print head most likely is blocked with dried ink.
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

Toner cartiridges are full but pages are printing blank

Turn your printer off. Disconnect from your computer by disconnection of cable, from the back of the printer. Unplug your printer from the wall.

Remove your print cartridges and gently wipe off the connections (copper or brass colored) with a dry lint-free cloth. Check to see if the bottom of the ink gates (holes where ink comes out) are clogged. Wipe gently with an almost dry but damp cloth, once or twice. Ink will continually come out, so only do this once or twice.

Plug printer back into the wall, connect power cable to printer. Turn printer on.

HP Photosmart will run through a series of checklists. First, it will ask if you would like to "realign" the printer heads. Press "enter" or "yes" and allow heads to realign. If you always have your printer and computer on, this realignment never happens, therefore the heads where the ink is dispersed from the modules will get clogged, and ink will never come out.

We have an hp office jet printer and out of the blue in the middle of a print job the display says the printer cartridge is out of allignment, then we changed the cartridges to no avail. what's the...

unfotunately, you have to go through the whole process of realigning the printer every time you install new catridges.so that the printer and computer knows it is full of ink again.otherwise it will still assume its out of ink.so just go back to the same way when you bought it to align the print catridges.just click on the control panel, then cick on printers and hardware, then double click the printer and scroll down to properties.double click it,go to maintenance click that and follow step by step instructions.good luck

Overiding Empty Cartridge error for Dell A10 962

I would take out both cartridges and put them in again. Realign the printer and the error codes should remove themselves. Try turning the printer off and on before puting the cartridges in again. That may make a difference. You can let your computer know not to tell you when the ink is low too. Let me know how this work for you.

Printer will not print

Ren, Does the printer show the cartridges have been changed? If the printer doesn't recognize the new cartridges, turn off the computer and unhook the printer, unplug the printer from the computer and electric. Turn on the computer so it boots without the printer hooked up,(2x) then shut down again. Rehook the printer and plug it in then reboot the system. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&oid=41661&prodoid=46048263&infoType=Downloads&platform=All You can also find updated drivers from epson from here.
