Unfortunately XP will not even load, it gets to the e machine screen and reboots. It will not boot to safe mode or last known good configuration.

Which operating system are you running? If WinXP, check the following:

From the run menu.type "sysdm.cpl" (no quotes)

Then click the 'advanced' tab.then start up and recovery settings.
Make sure the item marked 'system failure: automatically restart' is NOT checked. Then click OK, then restart your system to enact the changes. If your computer BSODs, you will see the STOP error.

if you can monitor your CPU temperature, do so. Does your BIOS/CMOS setup have this? A CPU that is very hot is unstable and will reboot. That is just one thought.

Another thing you could do is test your memory with a utility like MEMTEST+ to see if that is the issue.

SPC222SF IS GIVING ERROR ""PLEASE REBOOT SYSTEM ""

It is in auto reboot mode when a failure occurs. You need to take note of the SC Code that appears before it reboots. That will tell you what is malfunctioning. If it boots up with that - as in immediately - unplug the machine, remove the hard drive, plug in and reboot. Does it still occur? Yes? You need a service tech to check it out. No? Replace the HDD.

I need to reboot my computer and when it starts up but i dont know how

How to reboot a PC.
  • Save work if it's in jeopardy. If your PC has frozen, attempt to save your data before rebooting your machine. Rebooting will almost certainly cause data loss. Attempt to save your data to your hard drive, diskette or portable media.
  • Step 2 Determine the steps your operating system has to go through to reboot. Some operating systems allow you to press Control, Alt and Delete to reboot the PC. Others require different commands. However, if the operating system and software are frozen, you may use the power button on the machine or the power strip.
  • Step 3 Use the power switch if necessary. If you cannot access the shutdown feature of the operating system and the relevant buttons still won't allow for a reboot, press and hold the power button on the PC. Allow the machine to rest for a few seconds, then power back on.
  • Step 4 Wait for the power-on self-test. Allow the PC to check its components thoroughly through the initial boot screens that will appear.
  • Step 5 Resume working. Log back into the machine and continue to work.

CanonIR 5570 Copier reboots then jams at sorter

Sounds like the sorter connection between the two is poor or disconnecting, check the cable from sorter and power lead to the sorter are secure.

Check switch that machine uses to know when sorter is engaged is closing proberly/not bent

Check sorter indicator lights (if any) after reboot,

Try running lead to it from elsewhere in case there is too much drain or something weird with power supply where you are
