Question about Hampton Bay 52 In. Brushed Nickel Romano with Integrated Pan Style Light Kit Fan
Hi: This fan is wired so that a switch operates the light, and the transmitter operates the fan operations. We bought a house with this fan. It worked before. It is no longer working. Turn the switch to turn the light on one day, the lights flashed. Bulbs were ok, breaker ok. Now the light and the fan doesn't work. Checked the transmitter with another model we have in the house...that works when the dip switches are changed. Power is still getting to the fan and light assembly.
First check the fuses, the switches, sometime corrosion can cover the contact and check also the thermal fuse.......
