How would i reinstall windows on my pc - Dell Dimension 5150 (DIM515MIN) PC Desktop

You must have your installation disk with valid serials, your data safe in some bachup system (external HD, pendrive etc)
Then, just instert disk and follow procedure. At ome moment it will ask you to repatition disk and format it.
Remember that when you reinstall Windows 7, you must have available your drivers.

There is a program on windows 7 called system restore that you use to reinstall.

You need the bios/operating system disk to start, and then you would need a full version of windows to install.

you need to repair Your Windows Installation
remember,don't Reinstall windows,but Repair Windows from CD Windows Setup.
'cause if you reinstall,you will losing all your data in drive C.

If you have a restore CD then you can reinstall Windows.
If you have a Windows installation CD then you can use this to reinstall Windows.
Reinstalling Windows will wipe your data from the hard disk.

1. boot your PC or laptop from the Windows XP CD (To do this, insert the Windows XP CD into your CD drive or DVD drive, and then restart your computer).
2. You will see "Press any key to boot from CD" displayed on the screen, at this point press any key to start the computer from the Windows XP CD.
3. You will see the Welcome to Setup screen, press ENTER to start Windows XP Setup.
4. Read and agree to the Microsoft Software License Terms, and then press F8.
5. Follow the instructions to select and format the c: partition where you want to reinstall Windows XP.
6. Follow the remander of the instructions on the screen to complete Windows XP Setup
7. Reinstall any drivers which are required.
8. Reinstall any software programs which you need.
9. copy your data back to the drive.
