I have recently upgraded Training Center and device with latest updates from Garm site.
Now whenever upload a session from the Device History up to Training Center, the hsitory uploads correclt, but, it deletes any previous history, so all i ever have 1 item in the History section, even though there were previous entries.....

Unless you created a "back up file" with the Training Center software unfortunatly you will not be able to retrieve the data.
Regular back ups will insure you do not lose information in the future.
To back up your data in the Training Center go to "File" and "Back up" I believe the early version of the Training Center did not have the Back up feature so you would then need to use the "File" Export" option.
Apperently my unit had some old data prior to my purchase, (amzon selling returned equipment I imagine)
Anyway, I did a hard reset, (turn the power on while holding the mode button down) Erases all history. I then paired up my accessories again, tested it in 1 second mode and smart recording mode. The hard reset seemed to work for me. My 305 edge is now downloading map and graph data to my PC. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
This turned out to be corrupt data on my machine. I opened the Garmin traing center, backed up all the courses then deleted them inside the Training centre. I then received from device and all was okay.
