If you are trying to remove a cpu.

Use a basic screwdriver to open the lock and the cpu should come of easyly if not make sure all levers are on the open position in most cases the lever would point 90* degrees strate up.

OBD11 tool and everything works fine ??? That'sjust for the engine computer ! Need a professional type scan tool to view instrument cluster data . The instrument cluster has a microprocessor inside an can set DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes , separate from OBD2 . A bad cluster could bring down the Serial data network causing all kind of problems . Do you know what a data network is ? Your ford has SCP network .

2006 lincoln navigator instrument cluster not working

The thing to would be to hook up a factory or up scale scan tool to see if it will communicate . Your probably unfamiliar with control module communication on automobiles ! There is a microprocessor inside the instrument cluster ! Your best bet is to take to a qualified repair shop ,there is nothing you can do . If it needs to be replaced (which is highly likely ) info in the cluster needs to be down loaded to the scan tool ,then loaded into new one .The it needs to be programmed .
When installing a new instrument cluster, it is necessary to upload the module configuration to the diagnostic tool. Following installation of the instrument cluster, download the module configuration from the diagnostic tool into the new instrument cluster. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01 . The following items are configurable:
The Expedition and Navigator instrument clusters are configurable, hybrid electronic clusters (HEC) that contain a microprocessor, gauges, indicator lamps, and internal circuitry. The instrument cluster is non-repairable with the exception of the warning indicator bulbs and the instrument cluster lens. The instrument cluster uses hardwired circuitry, and the controller area network (CAN) to transmit and receive data from the vehicles other modules. For additional information regarding the communication networks, refer to Section 418-00 .
It is very important to understand:
  • where the input originates.
  • all the information necessary in order for a feature to operate.
  • which module(s) receive(s) the input or command message.
  • does the module which received the input control the output of the feature, or does it output a message over the communication network to another module.
  • which module controls the output of the feature.

Sanyo 32'' sound and no picture ? get a blue screen no channel id markers

Try unplugging it for about 5-10 minutes and see if that clears up the problem. Why? Because they have microprocessors in 'em (computer chips) and just as like with any other operating system, they can hang up or crash. This isn't an uncommon problem with today's TV sets. Unplugging it for awhile resets the microprocessor (in other words, it causes it to re-boot when you plugit in again).
There are 3 step to repair blue screen error

Denon 1508

This should resolve your propblem... taken from the Denon USA FAQ...

You’ll rarely need to "initialize the microprocessor" under normal operating conditions. In a few cases, the microprocessor will temporarily freeze or "lock up" just as your home computer does. When this happens, just follow the guidelines in the back of your owner’s manual to "unlock" the microprocessor and restore normal operation. (This is directly comparable to rebooting your computer. It’s an electronic wake up call to your unit’s temporarily paralyzed microprocessor "brain.")
If you experience some unusual behavior -- a channel that’s suddenly silent, "forgotten" level adjustments, some eccentricities in your unit etc. -- you may need to reset the microprocessor. Of course, you should check all connections carefully first. But if you’ve eliminated these items as a source of potential problems, you may need to go through the initialization process.)
Initialization is easy. Please refer to your owners manual for instruction on reseting the microprocessor as each unit may have its own individual protocal for reset.
What causes these problems? Several things can -- a jolt of static electricity, a current surge through an antenna input, etc. But don’t worry, the microprocessor is well shielded from any permanent effects.
When you do initialize the microprocessor, remember that this erases any setup instructions you may have previously programmed into the unit. However, the on-screen menu will quickly get you through a new setup. And, if you write down your preferred settings BEFORE you reset your unit’s microprocessor, you’ll have an even easier job!
If in the event you do intialize microprocessor reset please refer to your owners manual for instructions on setup..

This does sound like a uP (Microprocessor) problem... If you don't know what a microprocessor is or how to troubleshoot the problem, your best bet is to cut your losses and take the set to a repair shop. In addition to the possibility of a microprocessor the easiest thing to check for would be to actually check the wiring... Sorry i cant help you more...
