When I got an iPod for christmas we had a few problems with it but they were fixed by reseting it. Now when I click "sync" to load songs onto my iPod a little error box comes up and says that it cannot be read from or written to. We have tried to reset it but that still doesnt fix it. I love my iPod what can I do????
Hopefully you guys let it charge fully before you used it. Like most technology, if you didn't let the unit charge FULLY then you'll shorten its life. I learned this the hard way. Got too excited about something and ended up killing it.

Since your problems are universal i.e. with Safari as well as other apps. You should try resetting your ipod touch.
Reset all settings: Choose General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information, such as your contacts and calendars, and media, such as your songs and videos, aren’t deleted.
If this doesnt resolve your problem then I suggest you Restore your iPod. Instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1339?viewlocale=en_US
If this does not work either, claim warranty and get a replacement immediately. Do not fall for any **** on we will fix it. Tell them to get a new piece for you as this is a device fault.
you have to reset your ipod, it went into like this freeze mode. It happens to me all the time. You have to hold down your menu button and the middle button at the same time. After that it should blink on. Give it a shot
Try a full restore from disk mode.....
To put your iPod in disk mode. Hold top and center buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple symbol and then as soon as the Apple comes up press center and bottom (play) button simultaneously until you see a check mark. Keep trying it may take a few times. If your are successful, open iTunes and then plug the "Disk mode" iPod into your computer and restore using iTunes. If you can't get it, let us know.
try reseting it. then resyncing your ipod. to reset it, simply push the middle button down, and the menu button at the same time. a few seconds later and the ipod should reset. then sync the song that had the problem onto the ipod and see if it works. (no point in syncing all your songs becuase if reseting it doesnt work you wasted alot of time syncing songs for nothing)
