Question about SimpleTech (SP-U25/120G) 120 GB USB Hard Drive

Unable to access program

Each time I try to open the program it tells me it is already running and will not open. I have tried to uninstall, but it says I must close the program first. I am at a loss on how to handle this.

Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc to bring up task manager. Then on the top tabs, find the tab that says "Processes" and click it. Find the name of the program you are trying to delete under the Image Name. If you find it, click it and then click "End Process". Click Yes when the message comes up. If you don't find it, check the description (for Vista only).

The other way to do this is to log off and then log back on. If it still won't delete after that, try creating a new Limited User account, and then log onto the new account. Delete the file from that account. Log back on to your regular account and delete the Limited User account. Tada!

It sounds like you have deleted the program files instead of uninstalling it. go to www.filehippo.com and there you may get the same version of silverlight and install it. then uninstall it from the add remove menu.

Unable to remove yahoo messager


this is assuming you are using windows and have already tryed add/remove programs in control panel.

Download and Install CCleaner. run it then try again, if it still wont uninstall, delete the yahoo messenger folder under program files on your C drive, run ccleaner again, use the uninstall tool delete the yahoo messenger entry, then run the registry cleaner.

Getting earthlink off my computer


Download & install Ccleaner from here

In tools select startup tab. Find Earthlink and select, click disable.

Select uninstall & if eaarthlink appears select it run uninstaller. If asked do not reboot.

Select registry and scan for errors, follow prompts to fix errors (back up reg when asked).

Reboot and all should be OK

Yahoo wont open


First open task manager....check if there is any yahoo messenger service running on services....click that and click End Process and now try run the proggy...again if that also not helps try uninstall the Yahoo messenger ...download and install new version....Good Luck

Uninstall your older version or any version of I tunes. Do a search for itunes and if you find more, remove them, Try it with the uninstall program utility first. If you have problems uninstalling it, maybe it tells you that you don't have permission( this has happened to me with other programs), then look for a program on the internet called "revo uninstaller". This is a great program for pesky programs that don't or can't be deleted. This "will" take em out. then, just re-install the program.

Webcam always comes up as in use by another applicatio


Each time this problem comes up, try opening your task manager to see whether any program related to the webcam is running. If there is, you might need to uninstall the program. Try uninstalling and reinstalling you webcam driver too. You might have installed a spurious program that is constantly running the webcam.

I installed my 913D camera driver and after some trouble and it tells me that there is a connection problem and to trouble shoot. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled and it still isn't working.


Follow steps below :)
Open “Windows help and support” window.
Type “Program Compatibility Wizard “ in the question box.
Select “Click to open compatibility wizard”
Program Compatibility Wizard
To continue, click Next.
-------->> I want to choose from a list of programs
-------->>Select a program: 913D Camera
-------->> Microsoft Windows 95
-------->>640 x 480 screen resolution
-------->>Run this program as an administrator
-------->>ALLOW
Run 913D Camera Software. Should be able to connect and manually download pictures. If not try different OS settings.

Unable to run one care


Are you sure you have the VISTA Version of these programs..?

Try deleting the folder they are installed to, then uninstalling them form control panel.. add/remove will give you an error, then it will remove them from the list once you have deleted the folder in c:\Program Files\iTunes or whatever...

Maybe try uninstalling them in Safe Mode... enter safe mode by pressing F8 a few times when you turn your PC on.
